I've got Bilstein B16 PSS9s on my B5 S4 and cannot recommend them highly enough. They don't make B14s for B5s, so I can't comment on those, but still up there with the best I'd imagine.

laughably i had a set spare for my b7 saloon last year-sold them just after i sold the car
i bought them as a "just in case" purchase due to potential drc failure

still looking....

I fitted a set of the sports ones of these to mine when the DRC failed.

No complaints out of me and as they are on standard springs still hasn't made the ride low..

Had to blank DRC pipes as well.

Just a thought if you have had DRC issues and a less costly more standard ride way out.

purchaed a set of these[b8]-now i need to find if i am missing any parts due to my car running on coilovers
for instance i only have one spring pad on rear[its got adjustable spring perch] pad is at top-i think the normal spring may be padded top and bottom?
also need to see if i have all the top mount components once i strip the front...
i think these are my best option to run a simple set up nearest standard height
if it rolls too much i can always uprate both arb-but i have a feeling it will be spot on for me
