Mov'it Ceramic Brake Set for S4/RS etc

Folks,
It's been a while since I was on this Forum as I have defected to the dark side of AMG. Before selling my B8 S4 I removed the Mov'it ceramic brakes and put them in a box to sell on (or fit to the AMG). Neither has happened and I could do with not having them cluttering up the workbench in the garage, hence this advert.
So I have what I believe at the time were referred to as the Gen-3 ceramic discs, 400mmx34mm with the 6-pot mono-block callipers, in yellow. They've only done about 8,000 miles and are to all intents and purposes 'as new' - in fact the surfaces are still bedding-in really. The pads are probably 25% worn and I have a second, part warn pad set available too. The current mounting brackets were machined to fit the B8 S4 and the discs JUST fit under 19" wheels and on my car they were behind the Rotors. I suspect these brackets will be good for the B8 RS4 as well. I had an identical set of brakes on my previous C5 RS6 and the calliper brackets were just different enough to require a new set machining. Point is that any Engineering firm worth their salt should be able to make something up, as required. QSTuning in Haywards Heath sorted mine out for me.
Here's a link to the Mov'it information: http://www.movitbrakes.com/en/produkte/keramik/
Over and above the utterly fade-free, powerful and perfect-from-cold nature of these brakes, the most remarkable thing is the weight, or lack of it. Here's some measurements I took by way of a comparison;
S4 Sliding Caliper + pads: 8.5kg
S4 disc (343mm): 10.8kg
S4 Standard Total: 19.3Kg
C5 RS6 8-pot caliper+pads: 11kg
C5 RS6 disc (365mm): 12kg
C5 RS6 Standard Total: 23Kg
Movit Caliper: 4.3Kg
Movit Ceramic Disc: 6.5Kg
Movit Total: 10.8Kg
The improvement in the handling and general bump-thump feedback through the suspension is very noticeable and worthwhile - let alone the ability to stay out on track for as long as you want without experiencing fade (although the heat has to go somewhere so eventually tyre pressures start to rise and the handling changes somewhat....)
The new price of these brakes varies depending on the £:EUR rate of course, but anywhere between £7500-£9000 seems to be the going rate. I appreciate that if you don't have a B8 chassis then brackets might be required (a test fit will establish how much needs changed), but those should not be expensive. I'm after less than half the price of a new set, for a BBK that is effectively new. I'm near Guildford in Surrey. Happy to answer any questions anyone may have.
£3,500
Please help me make more space in the garage
Thanks,
Phil
