Wanted c7 front number plate plinth

Hi folks Ive got a short reg plate to put on my new rs6 and need to cut down the plinth to accommodate it,so if you have one or any other suggestions would be appreciated :notworthy: :thumbs:

I did away with it all together and used existing number plate screw holes.

I'm interested in this too as will be doing exactly the same when V5 comes back. Does the plinth just clip off with force? RS6chris, are there holes already behind the plinth ready to screw short plate directly to?

They are screwed in. I've done the same with my c6, removed it as that how classba ran it, but I will be getting the smaller one done. My body shop do a good job of it, I could find out how much they charge but you would need to send one to them to mod.

He does it perfect so the oem mounting points still line up centre.

Ok cheers. I think I actually prefer it without the plinth, so will just screw directly to the grill using existing holes.

Just remove number plate

Plinth is screwed on

Unscrew and un clip

Already screw holes there which I used for small number plate

You need one of these👍 It’s an Audi part I got from Hong Kong. Fits the same as the OEM plate holder just smaller 👍

I just cut either edge so the plate was a perfect fit.
