I'm quite surprised how the later generations of Ceramics have further reduced the weight, improved manufacturing process I guess. Are latest generation still produced by SGL, the merger with Brembo may have brought along some more tech?

They are still made by SGL @ Brembo, weight reduced it because they are now using aluminium bells instead of stainless steel. Only S6/S7 and S8 now using stainless steel bells and you can see the difference in weight.

Basicly the same disc 370x30 only bells are different.

S6 Rear Disc 370x30mm = 6.75kg each
RS6 Rear Disc 370x30mm = 4.55kg each

RS6 390mm steel brakes than or RS4 380mm Ceramic front only. Try to search ebay if you find good set, but be carefull some guys are selling damaged parts.

I know one guy who is/will be selling complete RS7 brake kit 390/356mm which is plug and play for RS4 B8 front and rears.
