Milltek Non-Res for B8 RS4 For Sale
Hi,
**on hold pending payment**
Looking to sell my 2014 Milltek non-res system. The sound is the nuts and if would fit an RS6 I'd keep it!
£700 collected from Reading.

Hi,
Few questions for you
,
1. Are you able to fit it or ship it? If not how long and wide is it?
2. Did you replace an oem sports or standard and how much is the difference? Does it now rumble more like a v8? In the video it's hard to tell.
Cheers

2 I did and the difference is chalk and cheese - it rumbles at tick over and sounds amazing when revving hard.

Can you let me know if it resonates in the car at all? When the flap are closed how would you say the noise level compares to the sports exhaust with open flaps?

Having just driven home with the OEM Sports Exhaust back on it I'd say this:Tweaky wrote:Can you let me know if it resonates in the car at all? When the flap are closed how would you say the noise level compares to the sports exhaust with open flaps?
Milltek with flaps closed, it's slightly louder than flaps open on OEM Sports but it's a nicer sound. Once you go over 3k revs it goes into loud mode = quiet until 85mph in 7th when in "quiet" mode.
Milltek with flaps open, it's loud....I liked it and had them open 75% of the time but it might be too much for some people all of the time.
I does have a drone in the car at specific revs, typically when being driven slowly, but I found driving the car didn't mean "driving around" the drone as I rarely had it in loud mode when pootling to shops and back.
Audi really did stifle the noise available......the Milltek makes it sound like a proper V8 should. It will not disappoint.

Ok so what you are saying i think is that there is no drone when driven in quiet mode. But in flaps open/loud mode there is drone at low revs..is that right?

Yep, quiet mode is fine. And the drone comes in when you should be changing gear. Never an issue for me.
