also can anyone help me out with a link for removal tools for the radio? Im away at work at the minute and im bound to buy the wrong ones left to my own choice...

Is it hard to route it to the tray the armrest sits over the top of?

Just adding this info in here for others who might find it useful :

Coding is really simple. Select 56 Radio (or 37 Navigation - same thing), then press Coding 07 and change the 6th digit to a 5. (0xxxx5x)*. Once you have committed this change you will need to do a reset of your RNSE by pressing Radio+Setup simultaneously until the unit restarts. Once the unit is powered back up select CD and under the sources menu you should now have AUX.

*Pay attention to the current coding and make sure you're adding the correct number. For MOST people this is changing that second from last digit to a 5 - but other optional extras may mean you need a different number and changing to a 5 may disable something else - please read te VCDS pop-up balloon guide on this field before committing changes.

Just to add, it's always a good idea to write down your existing codes, then you can always return to that stage it anything goes wrong.
