It's OK mate, it takes a lot to offend me. Likewise I wasn't trying to imply your exhaust wasn't worth what you're asking for it.

Any publicity is good publicity eh?

I'd be willing to give you £1,000 for it, especially if you can fit it? Do you have the equipment to do so?

Bearing in mind if you advertise on eBay and sell you'll get hit with a 10% fee... I have cash waiting now!!!!

The exhaust on the RS4 is literally the most simple you'll ever come across.

You disconnect it down by the cats, unclamp at the back and the standard OEM exhaust is one piece and comes off.

The Milltek exhaust is 4 sections, a little fiddly to fit as it's designed without the use of usual clamps and the hardest part is getting the back box pipes sitting the same height, I say hard it's just fiddly as want it to be perfect.

My friend Adam is an Audi Technician for Vindis Audi Huntingdon who are also Milltek authorised dealers so he's fitted more of these than I've had hot dinners. He's the chap who will be removing the exhaust from mine and fitting my standard one back on.

I can phone him when he finishes work and see if he'll fit the exhaust to your if you want, the only thing I would say is that you'll not be able to take your OEM exhaust home as it's virtually the length of the car, the only way you'll fit it into the car is to make cuts by the mid-pipe and then clamp them back if you plan to use it again at a later date.

I struggled fitting the standard exhaust into my work van as it's just 1 piece from the CAT's to the back box.

I've decided to buy a new one, thanks for the offer all the same, I just feel with new from a garage if anything goes wrong with it, including fitting problems etc then they'll have to sort it out. I got a great price (£1,300) so I can't complain.

Make sure you get it fitted at one of the listed places on the Milltek website otherwise they'll be a pain if you need warranty that said not heard of a single failure I'll be amazed if anything goes wrong anyway.

In my eyes, thats not an offer of £1000. I could ring up someone selling a car for £20k and say I'll give you £30k then the next day tell him I've bought another car, when he sells it for £20k I'll let the world know what a fool he is as I offered £30k eh?

I'd also read about your problems with the exhaust on these forums and the valves not working properly, so decided to get a brand new one for not a lot more money.

I'd suggest you don't take things too seriously and calm down a little bit, lighten up!

Perhaps I'm just mega fussy but "seemed to eliminate this issue" when referring to the S button / valves making no difference just wasn't enough for me.

You did also promise to have the exhaust off a week earlier and didn't, then when I contacted you the exhaust was still on the car and "hoping to have it removed this weekend" was the answer, you'd said that the week before and hadn't.

Anyway, you sold it, I bought a new one. Job done.

Okay enough is enough DazN I'm going to say things as they are because I'm getting annoyed with your constant lies and bullshit.

You've just quoted me as being a lier because I 'promised' it would be off on a Sunday when visibly on this thread I never made that promise. The only time I mentioned it definitely being removed by a Sunday was on a PM to you on Monday October 31st where I stated the following

I didn't have any time this weekend unfortunately the car remained static all weekend.

The exhaust will be off by this Sunday at the latest however as I've Sunday kept free, although I'm hoping to have it off before then but the night getting dark before I reach home hinders my enthusiasm.

For which for reference makes that Sunday the 6th November <-- The day I removed the exhaust and posted pictures. Also the day I asked you if you wanted my Audi Technician friend to fit it for you. So no, I didn't lie and I didn't make any promises, the nearest thing to a promise I made was a statement of it coming off Sunday 6th and it was.

Please feel free to post up screen prints, dialogs of my 'promises' or any statements, you'll struggle to back up your claims because simply your talking bullshit.

I got an insight into your character after you played off Revolution for a cheap price on there exhaust only to then use there quote as a reference to get discount at Awesome GTi.

I will enjoy the GT-R forum, I'd also have liked to stayed here as I'm keeping my RS4 and I remain on previous forums such as the M3 ones where I'm a respected member but if you set the tone for the rest of the members I'd rather not, fortunately I'm not narrow minded enough to assume because one member is a compulsive liar the rest of the members are.

Didn't see the 2nd part but in reference to that yes thats correct.

I advertised the exhausts as something like 41 days on the car when in-fact I'd mentioned the noise was insane loud. I contacted Milltek and they replaced bother the back boxes to investigate my issue.

The back boxes I actually sold weren't 41 days old they were in fact under a month old and had only covered around 400 - 600 miles. You could arguably say my advert is false, because in fact I'm failing to mention that in fact your getting an even newer exhaust thats covered less miles but then the fact I told you this clearly shows I wasn't hiding anything to any prospective buyers.

The valves had no issues, they never did have any issues and if they did after 400 miles I'd have replaced the exhaust under warranty or simply asked for a refund for failing so quickly would of been much better for me than listing on ebay getting a full refund.

I suspect but I've no idea there was no baffle in the right back box, how it occurred in the process of being manufactured or whether that even was the issue I don't know.

Not going to mention anything else now regarding this at all, said my piece, cleared my mind people can choose to believe read what they want..

I am calm, don't need to chill I just don't like people lying it's as simple as that. I don't lie to people, I don't feel why people should lie to me or more annoyingly, about me.

Hi, it's not sold yet as it's still on the car at the moment, wanted to remove it and photo it up before taking pictures and listing up properly.

It's basically brand new, not done more than 1000 miles and less than 8 weeks old.

Contradiction you say I did promised now admit I didn't anyway pointless to carry on the banter / disagreement for various reasons. Regarding not knowing business I could go into that and what I've achieved at 28 with my businesses but I'd come across as even more of a <beep> so I'll pass up that option.

1.) exhaust is now sold
2.) you've bought an exhaust
3.) online arguments are pointless / childish (yes including my previous comments)
4.) what people say in person and what people write can be misunderstood which is probably the case here
5.) ... could keep listing but no need / point.

Hope you enjoy your exhaust when its on the car, I'm sure you'll have it fitted longer than I had mine on the car for.
