Lol.

Why I never advertise my cars on forums. Too much bitching.

However much anyone wants for their property is their prerogative regardless of whether they paid less for it.

Yup. Can't blame him, if someone pays what he wants then fair play.
I don't like to make money out of fellow enthusiasts though.

What a weird thread.

I don't understand the problem of selling something you paid less for. It's either a good price or its not, buy or don't.

Its called ettiquette,

But thats as alien a concept here as manners and politeness.

Most forums I am on would react the same way to blatant profiteering. The idea of forums in the beginning was for fellow enthusiasts to have a place to help and advise each other about a shared interest. Not use the database as a barrel of fish to go shooting - theres the outside world to do that to.

No, it's called etiquette.

Anyway, I'm still confused what's going on here. Either Golfather is lying or Pwmotorsport is :/

The effort required for £100 or so of profit isn't a lot when your car does single figures MPG around town, and you've just spent £10k on a ceramic brake upgrade. Think about what you're saying, have you tried asking him the reason for sale?

Forums are about contributions, too, and when Golf isn't busy talking down C5 prices, he actually has a lot of helpful knowledge when it comes to the C6 RS 6 and has contributed a lot, most of it crap, but some good stuff in there too.

Total bollux.

There is a thing called a "market".

That sets the price.
