It may be hard to hide but even if he was found, what’s going to happen? He could just deny everything then go on holiday again.

Thanks guys, i might have to put it down to a expensive lesson learnt, I did it 4yrs ago when I bought a Mtm charger kit for my Rs4, and everything turned up, I suppose some people are just <beep>.
But like you said something may have happened to him, I just thought by posting on here maybe somebody over the years may have seen them for sale and enquired on them, but I do know he was asking a lot more than what I paid for them, I guess I just have to wait and see if he does the right thing, thanks

If you transferred the money to his account then it must have been the same name he gave you on the DL. I'd see if you can find out if he is still selling on ebay and get some one to buy a cheap item from him. Confirm his address through the sale and then start a small claims court proceedings.
