FYi the link you posted is what my plinth looks like, new and for sale if anyone wants it. The plinth you've pictured have you received it does it definately fit the RS4 grill or just an A4?
Thanks
Rob
Did you ever price up one like Faisal's from TPS? I want the same one with the parking sensor holes but I'm struggling to find one online to order.
Failing that, is the one you have the same except minus the holes?

No joy with this yet TPS ordered a few different part numbers and none are the smooth type with PDC holes I've left the guy looking into it some more...

Were any of the incorrect ones that came by any chance the US-spec with sensor holes?

Re: B7 RS4 US spec number plate plinth
Hi,
The Stateside ones are smooth but they don't have front PDC so no holes, fecked if I know what part number to order to get a smooth with PDC tried the part number Faisal has a pic of even sent that pic to TPS it came but with different part number and no holes TPS re-ordered it incase it was packaged wrong and same one came again??
Obviously it is available but is taking some getting hold of!!

Re: B7 RS4 US spec number plate plinth
Hi bud,
just under £60 but that was 2 years ago and I do get a bit of trade discount of around 10 - 15%. Part number looking back on our system is 8E0 807 287 C3F Z - but that doesn't look quite right probs one of the girls in reception typo'd sorry!
Just remember if you are making one the postion of the sensor is determined not by the plinth but the mounting in the grill behind the hole is just there for it to pass through sure you are aware just thought I'd mention it. My grill is carbon wrapped one of your plinths would suit mine
Cheers

Re: B7 RS4 US spec number plate plinth
I'm tempted to buy a non PDC smooth plinth and drill my own holes, should be easy enough to get them in line with the sensors?

Re: B7 RS4 US spec number plate plinth
That was my thoughts but the smooth plinth has an upper and lower strip the upper strip overlaps where the hole needs to be.gav525 wrote:I'm tempted to buy a non PDC smooth plinth and drill my own holes, should be easy enough to get them in line with the sensors?

Cheers for the info Rob

If I successfully get these underway I shall let you know. I will also have a good mooch around for the version with the holes and see if I can find anything
