Seeing as it only works illegally spaced it's probably worth less than £399 now

It's okay, I've spoken to road side officers they're happy with the spacing on this particular Reg as long as ANPR units can read its fine.stuartk wrote:Seeing as it only works illegally spaced it's probably worth less than £399 now
For e.g. making a 'b' look like an '8' then that would cause difficulty for cameras etc to read.

it's definitely ok because nobody is ever going to display it anyway seeing as it's £4100 overpricedfull_boost wrote:It's okay, I've spoken to road side officers they're happy with the spacing on this particular Reg as long as ANPR units can read its fine.stuartk wrote:Seeing as it only works illegally spaced it's probably worth less than £399 now

LOL you'd be surprised bud, offers of 2k so far on this one. But I think It's worth more given that this is the closest reg your ever going to get in ACTUALLY READING out 'RS6 Avant'stuartk wrote:it's definitely ok because nobody is ever going to display it anyway seeing as it's £4100 overpricedfull_boost wrote:It's okay, I've spoken to road side officers they're happy with the spacing on this particular Reg as long as ANPR units can read its fine.stuartk wrote:Seeing as it only works illegally spaced it's probably worth less than £399 now

And as far as overpriced..., I've seen 666RS etc asking price 30k but obviously it's much shorter etc. The general rule is a number plate is worth how much someone is willing to pay.

If you've been offered 2k, I'd tear their arm off.

Some people don't see the logic in plates, some people do like them.. but end of the day it's a waiting game. Some Plates have fetched from as low as 1k to 500k.Ian_C wrote:If you've been offered 2k, I'd tear their arm off.
My mate for example, he use to own 70 Y (TOY) now SOLD in the region of £135k. You begin to ask yourself why pay so much for a plate when you could happily buy 2 brand new Nissan GTR etc.. etc but that's the nature of plates. Only one ever plate exists, therefore truly unique. So again it goes down to the question of how much someone is willing to pay to have that particular Reg.

You've spoken to 1 or 2 roadside ossifers , who are quite happy to say you are exempt from the lawfull_boost wrote:It's okay, I've spoken to road side officers they're happy with the spacing on this particular Reg as long as ANPR units can read its fine.stuartk wrote:Seeing as it only works illegally spaced it's probably worth less than £399 now
