For Sale:-Brembo GT 380mm upgrade kit

Hi All,

I bought this kit to use on my Passat show car which is currently running RS6+ discs but this year I've switched to a set of splits and the discs no longer fit. I need about 3mm more clearance caliper to wheel which i can't get so I've gone back to the RS6+ discs so these are surplus now. They are mint as mint can be and come with Ferodo race pads and the spacers and extended bolts. They are 380mmx34mm 2 piece discs and as can be seen in the pictures there is no wear or lips as my car only does c5k per year going to various shows in the UK and Holland and has been off the road for the past year for 3 engine swaps.

They are an upgrade kit for the Gallardo and R8 and given they run the same discs as the C5 RS6 then I would think they should work. May be able to be modified for other Audi models. Kit number is 1019003A and retails for around £1400










Clearance just isn't there


I live in Glasgow and commute to High Wycombe every week so am more than happy to drop off to anyone anywhere on the M74/M6/M42/M40 and potentially around the M25. Delivery can be arranged by courier at buyers cost, but I can understand anyone being wary given I've got so few posts.

god almighty thats one hell of a commute!!! sounds like a good shout for someone looking to replace worn discs on a c5, Buying your upgraded kit would be cheaper than a new set of stock discs!!! If my discs go anytime soon i may be after this lot, glws

would these work on front of b7 rs4 if swoped bells over?

Hi,

I've already looked at the bells on std RS4 discs (as have old ones in the garage) and they have a different pattern to these. I had a PM regards this and the simplest thing on an RS4 from my thoughts are a 5mm spacer on the caliper carrier which would take the caliper back into the arch further and allow these to fit. As I said to that member I know a guy that specialises in manufacturing and refurbishing brakes and I'd discount the discs to cover any cost for spacers and bolts.

After having a chat with a user who was looking to buy these there was a request for the weight of the discs. They are 11kg each and from what he said a std disc is 12.4kg so there is weight saving to be had with these as well.

Wouldn't puting 5mm spacers on the caliper carrier make the calipers further forward (out)?

Yep your right. Forgot that the carriers sit on the outboard side of the hub and not the inside

Yeh does sound daft although have 6 cars in various states including the W8 these are from which is in the middle of getting engine #5 and a mk1 golf I've just rebuilt that came from Bermuda so sort of lose track at times
