OEM or Wagner (just the coolers, don't need the jewellery). Are there any other options?

Just repair them mate. Look in the c5 section for the guide.

I'm tempted, but I've had two repaired ICs fail on me within 18 months of fitting. Or should they just be regarded as consumables, requiring a patch job every couple of years?!

How were they repaired?
You could always get intouch with grizz or mrc to see if they have second hand coolers but normally they only get changed if they are leaking

I have two good ones. Not new but no leaks. Pm me of your interested.
Daytona RS6 Avant, PSS9, Milltek system with 100 cell, Wagners & hoses, MRC map / 533 ps & 865 nm. Phaeton Ducts. Daily drivers / VW T5 and R1.
