Hi,

I'm looking for a B7 RS4 Avant.

Particularly after silver leather interior - unusual, I know! Would also consider black comfort seats if in conjunction with sunroof. Definitely want FBSW.

Am flexible on exterior colour, but not Misano red or Sprint Blue.

Don't want anything with more than 65K miles or so.

Although I haven't tried it, I don't think I want SS suspension.

I'm looking for an unmodified car - particularly not interested in loud exhausts, I want it to be as discreet as an RS4 can be...

Audi warranty would be a definite plus (are there any recommendations for third-party alternatives?).

I'm based near Cambridge, but happy to travel for the right car.

I've got up to £22K to spend, cash waiting.

Theres a nice silver one for sale thats just had a price reduction too! Neckarsulm may be the man to speak to...it looks like it could be what your after and he knows his motors.

Volkswizard are advertizing it on pistonheads have a look.Its under budget so sourcing a fbsw wouldnt be a problem.

I actually saw that one when it was for sale at Dove House!

Although I didn't spend long with it it certainly seemed in good condition. However it has the black leather with black rooflining and carbon trims, which seemed quite dark to me. I see that they've refitted the RS4 badges, which is a shame .

I did actually go so far as to get a price from www.vwcruise.com for swapping the wheel. They recommended going to an RS6 wheel in order to retain the radio and phone controls, for a price of £840 (taking the MFSW in part-ex). I'm not sure if this is a good price or not, but in any case I'm concerned that when coming to sell I won't ever see that money again.

I'm also a bit concerned that nobody apart from me wants a subtle RS4 (as per long thread on here about that very car over past few weeks), so resale could be an issue anyway.

Forgot to mention, who's neckarsulm?! Is he the previous owner?
