Audi S3 8L - 60K, Immaculate

Post by Ryan_W » Thu Aug 30, 2012 4:00 pm

With regret, here I have for sale my immaculate Audi S3 8L.

I’m looking to buy a B5 RS4 as my weekend toy, hence my current weekend toy has to go (the Long Haired Colonel says so)...

I spent 2 years searching for the right car, and knew instantly when I went to view this one.

I’ve looked after this car meticulously, no corners have been cut. The car has never been kept dirty and detailed to a professional standard after every use (a little OCD, but that’s just me).

The cars been kept in my heated display garages and only ever used in fair weather at the weekends.
Detailing is my hobby, I clean this car along with my 135i every weekend without fail, using the best products (primarily Swissvax), making sure every area has been covered.

Anyway, here’s the spec of the car:

2002 Black Audi S3 8L
1.8T 225bhp BAM
60k miles
FSH
11 months MOT
2 months TAX (will put 6 months on it)
Bose
6 CD in-dash changer
Rear parking sensors
Ambient lighting
Black leather and blue alcantara interior
Piano black inserts
Full LED interior lighting
Cam belt, water pump and tensioner @ 43k
Alternator, belt and tensioner @ 51k
OEM suspension mounts and bearings @ 53k
OEM front springs @ 54k
New Bosch battery @ 57k
Rear discs and pads @ 60k
Full fluids service @ 60k
Genuine VAG aero wipers, blades and arms, front and rear
Genuine Audi TT alloy pedal set
Forge 007p diverter valve
Neuspeed airfilter
Badger5 3" turbo intake pipe
AMD Map - 270bhp / 283lb ft (with printout)
KW coilovers fitted @60k due to snapped spring on original suspension
KW adjustable rear tie bars fitted @60k
Poly dogbone mount
All standard parts included

Now the car come with one of two sets of wheels:

17" S3 Avus alloys with Michelin PS3 and Continental SP3 tyres (6mm)
or
19" OZ Ultraleggera HLTs' with 235/35/19 Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tyres (brand new)

The service history is as follows:

0 miles - 24 Apr 02 - Whites Audi London
10,732 - 18 Nov 03 - Wimbledon Audi
13,833 - 09 Jun 04 - Wimbledon Audi
21,644 - 09 Oct 05 - AMD Technik Audi Independent Specialist
28,335 - 25 Nov 06 - APS Audi Independent Specialist
33,399 - 29 Sep 07 - APS Audi Independent Specialist
37,983 - 04 Oct 08 - APS Audi Independent Specialist
43,509 - 20 May 09 - SEB Coachworks - Cam belt service
53,224 - 04 Jun 10 - Russell Automotive Centre Audi Independent Specialist
54,590 - 12 Jan 11 - Crystal Autocare
55,134 - 09 May 11 - Juniper Specialist Cars
60,043 - 28 Jul 12 - Jabbasport

The car also had its 4 coilpacks replaced at Huntingdon Audi under warranty on 23 May 11.

Now, pricing... There are cars with higher miles, less highly specced which I know will not be as mint as mine, selling for £7.5k+.
As stated, I spent forever waiting for the right car and I'm glad I did.

I’m asking £7,250 for the car with the with the standard wheels (or a price can be negotiated with the OZs).
I appreciate you need to view the car to see how mint it really is, but it has to be one of the cleanest examples in the country.

I've just spent £3k on it in the past month with the suspension and servicing at Jabbasport along with 4 new tyres.

Ideally I'd be after a PX with a B5 RS4, but a cash deal would work too.

The car is based just outside Stamford, Lincolnshire.

You can contact me via email ryan_wheal@hotmail.com or on my mobile 07792 325755.

Cheers,

Ryan

Dumbo is primarily fed on a high protein diet with his dad (me). He went under the front wheel of my 135i and didn't even brake a bone. Tough little cookie!

Plate is being sold with the car.

I'm not too sure mate. I've been into the detailing scene for some time, but I used to run FSDetailing not connected to Meguiars.

Ryan, I have seen this before, dribbled mildly and have also seen that she is still up on Audi-Sport. Still for sale? Out of my price range for the other half to replace her R but housemate is pretty interested. We have been to see 3 now and they have all been mildly dog-like....

Please let me know if she is still for sale and what your absolute lowest happy cash price would be (Had to ask as the housemate is a haggling monster....) Feel free to take this to PM. Best price based on the OE wheels but would be curious to see the price also with the OZ if you haven't already sold those on? Also, I take it that the KWW shocks are fixed dampers? If so then how is the ride, are wa talking harder than OE? Lastly, was the car fully laser aligned after the suspension etc swapout?

Thanks,

Nick.
