I had it at Kirkbride Straightliners and it did a 12.56 1/4 mile.

I was racing a Supercharged Civic Typer R that was stripped out. Beat it by a few cars length.
I would keep the car, but I really want to buy the house that I am letting as it has come up for sale. In a few years I would have an RS4 again, and would not even consider a different car. Just awesome to drive fast or casually. Just the perfect car.

Two things in my opinion would put me off...just speaking personally.
Drag racing video..
And 'probably remapped'
Is it or isn't it?

This was a one off... One of my friends said, go and see how well its does a 1/4 mile. I had a free day and it was quite close so I thought why not? Only did 3/4 runs.
What would people recommend me to do to show it is a 'perfect runner'? I must admit I have never driven another RS4, but mine has to be one of the best out there... Just drives so perfect. No steering movement at all at any speed, KW3 suspension has made it feel like it is on rails and it is not a harsh drive because of this.
I would be more worried about what I do not know about a car. I have been 100% honest. The previous owner will be the one who knows if it is chipped or not. I am happy to post a Dyno run if this helps work out if it has been done. It uses no water, a drip of oil every month (normal I would guess).
I am going to take some more photos of the discs and pads to show how new they are, also the new tyres.
What more can I do? Strip it back and lie that it has had no work?

For a brief moment at the start of this clip I thought you were towing the caravan!
Nice car, GLWS.

PH advert has no phone number.
I would use "along side" instead of "racing" for your drag strip info. You're really against the clock anyway.
Might be the time of year. Kids on hols etc...
Red is a marmite colour. Looks great, but might not be to everyone's taste.

Bored so I'll list my thoughts:
- - Can I ask what may be putting people off even calling? I could do with some feedback? Appears desperate to sell, you're selling a car not trying to win friends, sign up to Facebook if that's what you wanted.
- Using a drag strip video as a unique selling point, really?
- Vague explanation of remap. Who remapped it and what stage it is at is very important, also, you've reduced your market by selling with a remap. Consider removing it or put up with a slow sale.
- Coilovers will narrow your market too.
- Pointing out that all new tyres cost £1000 and brakes cost £3000 is going to scare the poo out of a lot of people. Besides, I think you got stung if pads and discs cost you £3k, they're not made out of unobtainium! Just list it as newly serviced brakes (new discs and pads) and brand new tyres (then list the tyre make and model).
- Tyre pressure valves on all wheels (apparently very rare??). No, I'm pretty sure these were standard issue.
- Using the word "criminal" is off-putting on a subconscious level.
- 99.99% spotless... really, how'd you calculate that figure?
- Just sell the car, not your opinion, if people wanted opinions they'd seek out Jeremy Clarkson in Topgear repeats over on Dave and not the classifieds section of Pistonheads.

It would always put me off a car if the seller doesn't know what he/she is talking about. Stage 1 or 2 remap doesn't give anyone confidence in the you or the car.
Being slightly modded you reduce your market and on top it's red which is not everyone's number one choice.
With insurance etc on these cars it may take while to sell unless if your desperate then lower the price

Thanks guys.
I have added a new photo to show the new tyres (all 4)
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3961098.htm
The car in my opinion is now it PERFECT condition for a new owner.
As for the mods... I have no receipt for any mapping work that may have been done, I was just told that if they have gone to the effort of putting cool air feed and KW3 suspension chances are they will have also had it remapped. The cool air intake makes sense, breaths better. The KW3 suspension replaced the standard suspension that was a fault on RS4's very expensive to repair and apparently always breaking. The car now has a better drive.
Its up to buyers now. A good 30m test drive will show what a great car it is.

Graham,
Having just sold my car (quite quickly), you may want to have a quick peek at my advert. I don't mind you copying and pasting (can be found in classified here).
You mention full history, maybe worth mentioning when the last one was? Serious buyers know they are expensive but if they know your cars recently been serviced, they maybe prepared to stump up more cash knowing they don't need to allow for that.
It's an 06 plate, did it marginally fall into the cheaper tax band by any chance?
Brand new tyres? Maybe mention the brand so people don't assume you've gone for the cheapest possible (unless of course you've fitted some Wanli ditchfinders of course).
Either put "new brakes" or "brakes fitted June 2012". Very recent can be interpreted in many ways and your definition maybe different to others.
Get some Autosol on that exhaust too!
Just some short tips that may help. Of course, every customer is different so I maybe barking up the wrong tree.
Good luck with the sale.
