Audi A6 4.2 RS6 bumpers + exhaust

Hi,

I intend to sell my 1999 Audi A6 4.2 avant soon (in black). This car is basically an S6 (minus 40 BHP).
It is in very good condition and has the proper recaro seats (in green), the NAV TV plus, a sunroof, xenons, Bose, etc.

I am a self confessed Audi anorak and absolutely love driving this car, which I've owned for over 5 years. I'm now close to buying a D3 A8.

It has loads of extras and a big pile of paperwork as evidence of the car's maintenance history. (I've even created a spread sheet listing much of the work/maintenance performed).
Importantly, the cambelt was changed by King's Lynn Audi (documented), a few yrs ago. The pinnacle was also replaced due to an immobiliser fault, at the same time - (that visit to the Audi garage was approx £1700).
The car has excellent tyres, recent front discs and pads, recent upper suspension arms, etc. The car wants for nothing.

I have made several changes to the car in my ownership, such as - chrome roof bars, chrome effect door mirror caps, genuine RS6 front and rear bumpers, genuine RS6 exhaust, genuine RS6 bonnet grille, genuine RS6 9 spokes (8.5J x 18) - recently refurbished and a tailgate spoiler.

I have truly looked after this car and maintained it to a high standard. It has had NO G/BOX problems.

The car drives superb and sounds amazing - thanks to the RS6 exhaust.

The car has 175,00 miles, but, drives like it has only done half those miles. It had approx 134,000 on it when I purchased it in August 2006.

The car has 3 had previous owners.

I realise it's going to be difficult to sell this car, in these times of high fuel costs, but this is a "driver's" car and needs to go to a fellow petrol head!

An inspection of this car is a must - you will not be disappointed!

I would like to achieve £4500. I realise there are 4.2s around on Ebay for less, but, at they don't have the RS6 bits and are probably not "anorak" owned.

I have to say - apologies for poor grammar/spelling - I did rush the car ad!

The car now has an MOT until 4th May 2013. She drives superb and I really don't want to sell her, but, I can't have 2 V8s - that would put me up for divorce!

I have spent so much money on this car - I love it!
I have not advertised it properly yet - aim to get it on Pistonheads and Ebay soon. I'm not desperate to sell, but, will see what response I get when I've advertised it elsewhere. I do realise, though, that people won't be queueing around the block to view this car.

It really needs to go to a fellow petrol head!

One day, in a few yrs, I might be able to get an RS6, for now, I'll enjoy the D3 4.2 A8 I've just bought.
