Wanted: Black RS6!!

Well in 5 years I've changed the A4 to a newer A4 and also got a A6 3L TDI Quattro le mans which is a fantastic car and I have owned my S2 Coupe for 17 years now!! A good c5 RS6 is very very hard to find

I have a question if someone would be kind enough to answer please on a c5 RS6 is an MRC gearbox map a good and sensible upgrade for a car that has also got an MRC stage 1 remap producing 506bhp??

That was hard to read. Yes, the gearbox map really makes the car more drivable. Are you sure it hasn't been done with the engine map? They did a stage 1 (just engine) and a stage 1+ (engine and gearbox). You can tell if it's been done already, if it will go into 5th gear at 30mph then it already has the gearbox map.

Appreciate the reply Chunky, in answer to your question I don't know it's just how the car is advertised! I have seen a video of how the car drives and it looks really good and pretty sure footed through gear changes etc, but as everyone knows with these cars the gearboxes are pretty vulnerable. (Thanks for the English lesson!)

You could always ask MRC if they know what work has been done on it. Have you got a link to the car (advert)? Might be known on here.

Actually, that kinda makes sense. Waaaaaaaay better looking than C5 loon and a better box too.

Think after years of searching for the ideal c5 saloon I might just give up! I admit I haven't looked too hard and over the years looked at 5 cars and 3 were OK and 2 were barking at me I might just change my attention back to RR Sport had one 5 years ago loved it but will still keep a look out it doesn't even have to be black these days as I like blue in a saloon it just has to be a well looked after sorted example
