FOR SALE : 2007 B7 RS4... with a few extras
Posted: Sun Oct 16, 2011 1:53 am
Alright guys
This is what it's come down too, i was hoping it didn't come to this but having really put some serious thought into it over the last few days i've realised I have possibly 3 options;
1. Sell my RS as is to a fellow enthusiast
2. Strip the 'extras' and sell as standard car via usual routes PH/Autotrader
3. Strip the 'extras' and part ex against another car (to speed the sale of the car)
Now obviously my ideal option would be the 1st so here goes...
The car is a 2007 November 57 plate and has 25k on the clock. Full service history with Camberley Audi and Oil and filter change carried out approx 2 months ago. (Castrol Edge)
I am the second owner, first was also a forum member and enthusiast who carried out most of the mods.
Mugello Blue with Black leather buckets.
Carbon inlays
FBSW
Heated front and rear seats
Tech pack inc. Sat Nav, Bluetooth, adaptive headlights, auto wipers and coming home lights.
Remote boot lid
Analogue TV tuner, but I have a digital tuner installed too.
EXTRAS;-
*Currently vinyl wrapped in white with carbon trimmings and roof
*RS Fabrications OEM modified Exhaust with Twin Tubi style tips incorporating the OEM Valves on the S button
*RS Fabrications De-cat Pipes
*Mapped with confirmed 417bhp (as you know none of the cars made 414 as stated from factory)
*Brembo 380mm big brake kit discs only done approx 8k
*Pagid RS-29 yellow race pads
*JHM solid short shifter
*Hotchkis ARBs
*H&R lowering springs fitted by Camberley Audi
*OEM RS6 optional wheels (which are exact same spec as OEM RS4 9x19 et29)
*H&R spacers all round, 8mm fronts and 10mm rears
*LED DRLs
The pictures speak for themselves, very well cared for example, never tracked, always warmed up and cooled down, with the above mods this truly is a very unique looking B7.
I know a number of people may be sceptical as to the condition of the paint underneath, i was assured by the previous owner, who was a detailing nut, that is in A1 condition, but I don't want anyone to take our words for it so i will have the wrap removed to reveal once again the glorious Mugello paint.
IMO she will look even better once wrapped is removed on the C6 wheels sitting nicely on the H&R springs and custom pipes.
Recently treated to full oil and filter change, as i've driven it about 4k miles since i purchased! In addition it now has a brand new Bosch heavy duty battery fitted as the original didn't seem to hold power.
The only negative thing i can say is that the wheels need a refurb as 2 of them have kurb grazes on them. I will sort this prior to sale.
Other than that she handles like a dream on the lowered springs and ARBs, drives and sounds amazing, the exhaust is quite subtle under normal driving, but once you hit the 'S', the V8 really comes alive, suprisingly not intrusive in the slightlest inside the cabin. A few members have been out in mine and should be able to vouch for this. Always ran on Shell V-Power by myself asn previous owner.
This is the first owner who i bought the car from... includes a few pics too

Just a few examples of how good the Mugello colour looks...

I will be taking a huge hit on the price but I have genuine reason for sale, as much as i regret to post this, it kills me to admit this is one toy I will have to sacrifice due to high insurance cost for me (points, claims and location)
£28,500, taking into account the mods and current RS prices, if you are genuinly interested, please drop me a PM and we can discuss further.
P.S Car will come with 12 months MOT and 12 months TAX (both due end of Oct)
