I'm looking to buy an avant RS4. I've been offered a 2006 done 47000 miles in black 2 owners with a standard spec. What value would you put on ins car. Excellent condition FSH by audi. Thanks for your help.

I think 35k tops,the black average mileage car you mention previous is worth 25-26k imo if it has the right spec ie buckets fbsw all in good condition,i think the reference point for 24k was a car with silver leather and normal recaros which have a reasonable effect on desireability and value,ive checked the condition of drivers bolsters on several of those mega low milers and some dont seem to stack up,if theyve done very short trips with lots of getting in and out and not fully warming the engine and regular "italian tune" then i wouldnt pay a premium for the low mileage at all because you will be spending 2k in a seat re trim and decoke at mrc,just my 2p

You need to get into the finer details of the individual cars when getting it down to the last few k,tyres brakes tax arent cheap and if a particular cars just had or is due it would have a substantial affect imo as that lot could amount to 3k easily,throw in re working shitly smart repaired wheels etc could see the bill rising,ball park long distance estimates are only good for within a few k imo
