RS6 C5 FOR SALE, or i'll trade it in

Hi all,

After owning the car just 3 months, i have decided that i would like another RS4.

I am selling the RS6 to fund it, and have been offered 11k for mine from Audi, if anyone wants to bid me more than that they can come and take it

The car is a 2004 04 RS6 in grey metallic, huge spec including:
Alcantara roof lining, CD changer, Nav, TV and phone prep. Electric everything with solar sun roof. Heated front and rear seats, Chrome mirrors and rails, the list goes on.

The car has done 94700 miles with full dealer history except one service. Its runs perfectly with no faults, gearbox is silky smooth, totally standard and as far as i am aware has never been fettled. 4 very recent P-Zero tyres now showing between 5 and 6mm of tread all round, just had a set of new front pads (Audi OEM) fitted by my local indy. Inside is unmarked, full black leather, everything works 100% A1. Even has sun blinds built into the rear doors.
Outside, it has one 5mm scratch/pin dent in the tailgate and the odd stone chip, very few though.
Alloys are mint, not a mark, run on v-power since i've owned it and just had a oil and filter change by the same indy as the front pads.

id bite their hands off if they've offered you £11k, they are not going to retail it, and so must have it underwritten, so I'd get in quick before the underwriter pulls out

How's that work Dee? If they don't retail it, does it go to the breakers, auction or is it crushed?

a trader will take it ... i.e. someone else will sell it, an independent dealer

most dealers have relationships with traders to take p/x they cant or wont retail, i.e. if an Audi dealer takes in a Ford KA ! or in this case a 95k C5

They give the details to the trader and the trader tells them how much he will take it for

Books at 9k so theres no way they'd offer 11.
But as the DK suggests, bite their arm off before they realise their mistake !
