Right, I've found something I want more than my RS6, sooo, back up for sale.
March 03, 102,000 miles. 3 owners from new. Full Audi service history until 2008,from then on Unit 20 took over the upkeep. Cam belt changed @ 50k and 80k miles. Oil changed every 5k miles
Never smoked in. Comprehensive parts and 100% labour warranty until October 2011 (this can then be extended quite easily by the new owner if they wished) .

The car is running at approx. 530 bhp / 560 lb/ft.
BAD BITS.
Some wear and tear to front bolsters
Wear to the grab trims.
Gear shift buttons and temp control buttons are worn.
Quite bad stone chips on the driver’s side rear wheel arch
Some minor stone chipping to the nose
A shallow scratch on the near side wing
The wheels have been kerbed .
Near side rear arch has been dinted.
Well known car on this forum, and mechanically this car is spot on..... I just can't get on with an auto 'box !

If you are serious you can offer swaps plus cash, you simply ensure the buyer if the mods has to pay for all the labour on a swap at a mutually agreed location. Still works out as a win win, it's how I got my C6 brake set up!

It'll probably only apply to the exhaust and brakes anyway but could net you some cash and not devalue the car too much.

That is an option I suppose, I'd probably get more breaking it for parts as well . To be honest I still love the car. The noise, how it looks, and of course the power. It's just the gearbox. It really gets on my nerves, and I can't justify the expense of a manual conversion (to the wife).

Is it the lack of gear control? You could customise the TCU for more selection, harsher changes etc.

I think the TCU has been fiddled with. I'll have to ask Mooch.
