C5 RS6 for sale

Post by viffer » Fri May 06, 2011 4:40 pm

Hi all,

I no longer have any financial interest in this, having px-ed the car, but in case anyone is interested my '6 is for sale:

http://www.911virgin.com/porscheforsale ... uattroTip/

Good provenance. I bought it from another forum guy.
FASH. Recently all at Camberley Audi. Rob Chorley knows the car.
Recent Cambelt + water pump.
Very recent service.
Very recent tyres (Michelin PS2s)
Recent new wheels (Audi OEM x 4)
I was not shy about spending money on it, and it's in very decent condition. The interior is especially good.

I'm happy to answer any questions - PM me if you're seriously considering it. To repeat - it's not me selling, I'm just being helpful, so you'll get a 100% honest opinion.

Cheers, Richard.

Stunning and a credit to your previous ownership. Couldn't see mention of colour on ad - black or mugello?

Looks Stunning...

What did you trade it in for? A 911?

Hi Viffer,

I went to have a look at this car at 911 Virgin and I have to say it is a true credit to you as it's previous owner! I would like to be the next however, I have one reservation! I have read in quite a few places that the DRC fails on these and that its an expensive job to rectify. I just wanted to know if it had failed yet on this car? Can you help?

Thanks

If not, invest in coilovers to replace the DRC, they won't go again!

Can be had from circa £1300 a set.

Thanks RS6 Dave,

I have seen another thread on here about the coilovers. Just wanted to know if the DRC had been replaced on this vehicle. I test drove it and the ride felt quite hard. I can't imagine it being standard! 911 Virgin couldn't answer the question though.

I'm jumping ship after years of Jag and M car ownership so I am a complete rookie when it comes to Audi but I have to say, I was very impressed with the car and its performance. I don't know whether its just because its different to what I'm used to but I have been left with the feeling that I should have tried an Audi alot sooner!

So looks like this has been sold now, or just moved on.

Anyone on here?

I've not heard anything. I must admit I'm curious / sentimental. Yeah, I know, just metal.

Another of my old cars (B5 RS4) is for sale with Nick Johnson at the moment.

I had it from 8500 to 30000 miles, and sold it a few years ago when I got my CSL. Still looking good, so I hope it finds a sympathetic new owner. Quite tempted myself, in fact...

Cheers, Richard.
