Well folks, the time has come to part with my RS6, as she's just not getting the use she deserves. I work away in the week and only really get chance to enjoy her on a Saturday. It seems such a shame to have the car sat on the drive, when someone else could be enjoying it.

To that end, I'm putting the feelers out to see if anyone is interested in buying my car.

She was registered in March 2003 and I'm the third owner (April 2009 onwards).
Current mileage - 47250
Dynamic Ride Suspension (DRC) replaced with H&R (adjustable) springs and shock absorbers in October 2009.
Brand new 'Plus' drilled discs and pads fitted in March 2010 (less than 2000 miles ago) including VW Phaeton brake ducts, at Unit 20 (renowned Audi RS6 specialist) in Cheshire.
Full Audi aero windscreen wiper upgrade.
MOT March 2011 including Audi MOT guarantee.
Tax end March 2011.
Full roof respray by Lincoln Audi in June 2010 as the rain channels had started to blister.
Full Audi service history. Last serviced in March 2010.
Cambelt changed at 37000 miles.
Full MRC (Banbury) gearbox service in June 2009.
Sat Nav and 6 CD changer. All the usual refinements including Bose audio system, TV, paddle shift, suede roof and parcel shelf etc. Black seats with white piping. Matching Audi Exclusive leather trimmed 4 mat set.
All tools, manuals and keys included.
Immaculate inside and out.
Only ever run on Shell Optimax fuel.
Private plate NOT included.
Additional pictures available on request.

Test drives will be given, but I'll do the driving unless you have full proof of insurance.

I will be home in Lincoln most weekends from now on to show the car if you are interested.

Please PM me and I'll get back to you as soon as possible with replies to any questions you may have.

I've only had a couple of emails at this price, would 17500 get any more?
The car is immaculate and has never been chipped/mapped/tracked etc.
Plenty of additional photos available on request.

Mate, the arse has fallen right out of the market. I blame people on here throwing 'book price' around and the increasing number of £10k motors being advertised with 'slightly better off' chav buyers in mind. You dont get this bollocks with the B5 crowd. B5 RS4's are actually fetching more than our 6's.

Ah well, I'm in no real rush to sell. I'm not planning on getting anything to replace her, as I'm just not at home enough to warrant having the car just sat on the drive. Reduced to 16950 to see if this tempts any prospective buyers.
Book schmuk is what I say Eddie! Mint, low mileage, cared for examples are few and far between, and I believe that mine is a corker :-) Hope you're enjoying the M5.

I'll second that mr. swift's saloon is a corker..!!
If it was an avant i'd be tempted to put mine on the market and go for it - daytona and black leather is my favourite combination.

Folks, I've dropped the price on this to 16750. If there's no interest soon, I guess I'll just wait until after Christmas.

Well, how does £16k sound?! It breaks my heart to sell it at this price, but unfortunately, needs must.

I've had an offer of £14750 on the car - if anyone is interested and can beat that, it's yours.
Break my heart, but unfortunately, needs must :boohoo:
