For sale:

Audi RS6 (C5) saloon for sale. Avus Silver, with black leather interior.

Car was originally Audi Norwich's dealer demonstrator, until purchased by my Mother-in-Law in April 2003. She ran it, initially as a company car, and when the business was sold, it was put into her husband's name, and finally into her name when he passed away. It was garaged for a number of years, until I made her an offer for it, and recommissioned it. When my MIL had it, it was registered as 77CNP, its now back on its original plate of AO52XAH.

Car has done just under 78,000 miles. I did timing belt / water pump and front of engine bits, renting the special tools from this site. Its on Koni dampers. I've done the brake suction jet pump last November, fitted new front discs and pads and it had a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S then as well. Its' got the Allroad wipers.

Radio is still the RNS-D option, with Bose. I contemplated fitting something newer, but all the aftermarket options look too aftermarket for me. There is a bluetooth FM transmitter included. There is also a new GPS sensor mounted on the dash as the roof mounted one packed up. Additionally there is a twin USB power socket in the passenger footwell, this is hardwired behind the dashboard to an switched ignition power source, accessed through the drivers side dash. There is facility for another USB device behind there, eg for a powered phone cradle.

My friendly local painter has just given it a good exterior polish for me.

Bad bits:
- headlining has started sagging.
- a/c not working well - have a new pressure switch for it but not fitted it yet.
- sometimes throws error codes relating to secondary air injection - not got to the bottom of that yet.

If an RS246.com member buys it, I will include the following. If a random Herbert from Facebook buys it, using 'wots your last price, bruv?' tactic, they probably won't...

- an official Ross-Tech HEX-2 VCDS cable and software which has only been used with this car.
- the set of DRC dampers I bought, fitted and then found the DRC pipes were leaking, so they came straight back off again.
- radio removal keys
- front 'service position' bolts and spacers
- I've kept various bits that were fitted, in-case they came in useful. You can choose whether to keep any of it or not.
- a folder of how-to's that have been printed out.
- Luggage dividers and a collapsable Audi basket in the boot.
