Daytona RS4 B7 Avant - Update Price Drop

Hi all, this is a 'pre-alert' for me selling my beloved Daytona Avant... recent overview pics will come later as I am offshore at the moment - older pics can bee seen in my previous posts. Open to questions, will answer best I can given I am at work for the next 6 weeks.

Owned since 2013, purchased from RS246 Forum member, prior to that the car was registered to two owners in the same address in London.
Service history
Aberdeen Audi lost the service book in 2013 but provided a print out from Audi of all services/ work completed by Audi up to that date.
Since then the car had one service and MOT in Stewart’s Garage, Dunoon and from 2014 the car has been looked after by Audi independent specialists A for Audi in Clydebank.
A for Audi has maintained the Audi service schedule annually with oil and filter changes carried out regardless of miles covered in the previous year - oil changes always Castrol Edge.
Have tried to keep car as standard as possible with only modifications for longevity, no performance mods.
All receipts available for new components and work carried out during my ownership.
Car has run exclusively on super unleaded during my ownership.
DRC Removed and Bilstein B14 coilovers fitted 2015
JHM Oil pipes fitted along with new oil cooler 2017
Meyle HD control arm kit (front and rear) fitted 2018
Brembo front disc and pads fitted August 2021
Kintex rear discs and Brembo pads fitted August 2021
New rear offside caliper fitted August 2021
Inlet manifold rebuilt by MRC through A for Audi February 2022 (flap shaft seized on one bank and lever arm broken on other. All renewed to standard set up – not de-flapped)
Carbon clean carried out by A for Audi February 2022
Both aux radiators replaced by A for Audi February 2022
New air conditioning condenser fitted February 2022
Front anti-roll bars renewed September 2022
New auto headlight sensor fitted September 2022
Goodrich stainless steel braided brake hoses all round
K&N Panel filter
Ctek charger cable installed for trickle charging, discreet install with connection in offside fog lamp grille
Michelin P4 tyres all round, +5mm. Fitted in 2018, low mileage due to little use.
Spark plugs and coil packs renewed July 2023
Bodywork
Full paint correction carried out in 2018 and Optimax ceramic waxing applied. Internal and engine bay detail, and alloy wheel refurb carried out at this time also
Both front door blades replaced with new during 2018 detailing
Both front door mirror brackets replaced in 2018
Slight paint blisters on front offside wheel arch
Small paint blister on drivers side roof rail gutter at front
Small area of de-lacquering
Moderate paint blister on rear nearside door in way of the plastic trim
Small paint chip on rear offside door in way of the door shut
Single small paint chip on left of rear tailgate
De-lacquering round tailgate badge
Spare tailgate with similar but larger chip is also available and can be provided with the car!
Interior
Honest wear for 93k, seat bolster showing some wear - expected for the mileage
Seats do deflate after a while, will remain inflated for a 6 hour journey but will deflate overnight
CD Multi-changer in glovebox
Never smoked in, no pet transport
Original tools plus jack and owner’s handbook.
Two keys
VCDS cable will go with the car
Also, I have two unused Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric tyres which have been kept in my garage, since 2017 plus one alloy (incorrect offset but correct style) with a cheapy tyre, a set of front brake pads with sensors, and a few brake pad fitting kits
Current Issues
Air conditioning not operational – HP pipe requires renewing due to a pin hole
Slight blow in forward part of exhaust
Both exhaust flaps seized in open position, vacuum lines blanked off
Auto-adjusting headlights not operational
Plan to have all the above mechanical issues rectified in early September including a final annual service when I return from current offshore trip
Overview pictures will be added later after a good clean and polish when I return from offshore – older pics can be found on my other posts. Only areas of concern are posted at the moment.
This is a pre-advert advert to ascertain whether I sell on the forum or offer to a wider audience – preference to sell to a forum member. I expect the full advert to go live in mid September.
Price £18500 based on the eventual mechanical condition, fair external & internal condition, mileage, service history file & receipts, listed upgrades/ updates, and market value.
I feel it is a fair representation of a well looked after vehicle with honest bodywork for age and mileage.
I’ve thought long and hard about selling her. I do not need to but, given the car is not used much (averages less than 1000 miles per year over the last 7 years – MOT history confirms this) it is surplus to requirements – my wife will not use it as a second car!
