Yes, fantastic advert! Looks lovely. I’m tempted, just a shame it looks like the seats were potentially stolen and recovered based on the scratches. Although you can probably repair anything these days....
Interesting deduction, how can you tell that from the marks?

Stolen and then recovered, amazing skills to see that from some scratches.

I have removed my comment. I had a few drinks and it was a bit of a ridiculous thing to say. I apologise.
There are some strange marks on the back of the drivers seat and at the base of of seat where it meets the door shut. I think I was very tempted to bid, especially after a few too many beers!
Again, I’m sorry for making such a ridiculous supposition.

Does look a decent car, if you're in the hunt for one it'd be worth a shot.
Might be worth getting in touch with the OP and ask some questions, probably best before drinking

I didn't get any alerts to the responses on the post. Thanks for the positive comments it really is as good as it gets!

With regards to the scratches on the interior plastics unfortunately that was done when the car had some temporary comfort front seats fitted (in my ownership). The only reason they were fitted was that I had a slipped disc and driving the car was impossible so I had to seek some help getting the seats fitted and regretfully small scuffs occurred during this process. Easily rectified with not alot of money for anyone who buys it. Something that I would have got around to this eventually but i ended up focusing on the bigger (and more expensive!) jobs that make these cars desirable and more future proof.

I can confirm that the car is HPI clear and that the wingbacks are factory supplied/fitted.

I've had a fair few members on here get in touch and ask for my number so I am hopeful that it should stay within the RS enthusiasts group.

Listing ends tonight, Good Luck to anyone bidding and thanks!

This is a fascinating auction for me and I presume many others on here.

I've had my almost identical car for a few years now and always wondered what it's true value was.

The collecting cars auction will probably give us the only real representation of its value given the platform and its auction format. I'm certainly watching with interest and hoping the price goes up!

Lovely car mate, I'm sure the new owner, whatever they pay for it, will be chuffed.

I think alot of cars from this era are starting to sell for what they should be now. They have appreciated and becoming more modern classic category. I'm confident that similar examples will hit the 30k mark within 12 months.

Whatever the new owner pays I can assure you I will be at a loss, I have spent far too much on this car but the original plan was to keep it hence the spending on all the general refresh and preventative maintenance.
