C5 RS6 / B7 RS4

Hi all
New to the forum - looks really helpful and lots of people with plenty of knowledge.
Long time 911 owner (be nice please) looking for my first fast wagon.
Does anybody have a recommendation between the rs4 and rs6 avant please?
Anybody considering selling a well looked after one?

Welcome to the mad house - some really great knowledgable people in here.

Having had a number of 911's over the years and a smattering of RS4's and RS6's; my recommendation is...

If you have kids - RS6
No kids, you'll really feel the size of the 6 over the 4 - but for me, it's the 6 every time. Just something about it.....
not sure what version of the 911 you have, but the 6 will feel significantly quicker....(unless you have a 991 Turbo)

Probably the best all round daily drive I've ever owned.

Hi Ben, if you decide to go the 6 route I have a low mileage (75k) Daytona grey with recent trans rebuild all new brakes and nearly new Tyres, recored coolers. Koni shocks etc etc etc. car in dry storage at the mo as I've just bought a E55 amg, was going to keep both but the wife wants to move house. Hi Ben, Matt's car above is a good one but if you are interested in a good Mugello Blue Avant (Dec04 , 73K, mostly standard) after 8 years I too am getting encourged by better half to reduce the fleet! Hertfordshire. see PM for phone no. Ric.
