Re: 2006 Audi RS4 Saloon Daytona Grey
Either I’ve lost touch with values or that’s giving it away - where’s the catch?!

Oh - and selling your car on a first post doesn’t exactly endear...

No catch mate. I have an itch for an e46 m3 and I can’t justify keeping 3 cars. The rs4 has always been used as my weekend car. I have receipts for all the work that has been completed for peace of mind.

Having had 5, I'd keep the RS4
Of course, if you have the urge to go sideways around roundabouts, and go nowhere in the snow, M3 all the way

Haha sounds fun. I have a feeling I may come back to the rs4 at some point. I want to try a few other cars first.jonnysideways wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 11:34 amHaving had 5, I'd keep the RS4![]()

If you've not had an E46 before then find a good one and research. They've lots of big issues that may need sorting I've had two, loved both, but the rs4 is a better car.
Re: 2006 Audi RS4 Saloon Daytona Grey
Been looking at them for a while. I know of all the major issues that need sorting. It’s just something that I would like to try out. I know I may regret it but oh well. We only live once.

Re: 2006 Audi RS4 Saloon Daytona Grey
I travelled 160 miles to view this car the other day. Nice bloke selling it, however when taken for test drive it had horrendous knocking from the offside rear wheel. Seller stated he had never heard it before and suggested it may be something in the boot.
Having returned from test drive I could clearly see that the gap between the top of the tire and arch was significantly less on the offside. Also a blow on the exhaust.
Strangely the previous DRC had been replaced In 2018 with gen parts fitted by Indy.
Looking at MOT.s it's done approx 10k since this was replaced..??? And there was the paperwork to support this
Sport button worn on steering wheel?
Discs and pads seemed ok
Very disappointed tbh as first impression is was a nice car.
Having left without it, the seller contacted me to say his garage confirmed leak from rear shock.
Surely that and the exhaust would have been picked up straight away on MOT?
Bent MOT me thinks
