Hi all

I’m after a B7 RS4, looking at max of £13k.

Avant or Saloon
Miles - no more than 110k
Ideally DRC been replaced and if towards the higher end in terms of mileage clutch replaced.

I know this is a huge ask given the budget, but it’s an itch I need to scratch and speculate about!

Good luck to get an avant for that price with all the big jobs done and with that mileage.

Seen alot of people recently that want these cars for peanuts with all the big jobs done. They are expensive to maintain you need to go in with your eyes open if your buying one as it can soon add up. By the time brakes and a clutch is done your talking thousands which makes it false economy to buy a cheap one.

Is this a good or bad option??

I certainly wouldn’t be spending 13k with a 6 line advert. Doesn’t mention any of the common faults being sorted. Buy it and see what happens, could be fine or you could be in a 5 grand hole this time next year.

No mention of previous owners, service history etc. It does not look to bad in the pictures, is obviously being used by the seller going by the mileage increase and phone lead etc which could be seen as a good thing.

It might be ok, or it could need loads of work.

Buy on condition and service history, not mileage or the number owners.

I assume the poor advert is designed to make you call and ask, or there is nothing good to say.

I'm coming out of a 6 owner 23year old BMW with 81K and megga history, so understand the need for history, but also makes me a little fussy, just commented as the chappie wanted to spend 13K. hey presto ;0)

Mine is on sale if your interested. Only listed it for sale last night. DRC fully replaced, oil cooler pipes changed and brakes all in excellent condition.
