I could have sold it 20 times over last night. I couldn't keep up with the messages on
Facebook marketplace and there were people offering over the asking price wanting to collect at 11pm.
I think I may have undervalued it slightly but it's ended up going to a good friend which I'm pleased about as he won't abuse it. He's moved house so now has a longer commute and will use it as a load carrier during renovations.
I'm really surprised by the amount of interest in a 300,000 mile car with cosmetic damage!

Glad to hear its gone to a good home. If you'd sold it for £300 through
Facebook or ebay, it would have almost certainly cropped back up the next day for £500-750 etc

You can't kill 'em, tough as old boots.
I ran an 80 Avant 1.9 "red spot" for about 5 years, spent buttons on it, sold it with quarter million miles on her & still see it knocking around today...that's when Audi's where properly over-engineered, unlike now
