2007 Audi A6 Avant 3.0 TDI Quattro Le Mans Huge Spec

Post by Michaelk3289 » Thu Jan 24, 2019 12:19 pm

top of the range A6 model back in 2007 and this car has probably the best spec i have seen on one, below is a list of the main optional extras on this car

satnav
cruise
bluetooth
heated elec black volcana leather with no nasty rips (only some very slight wear on drivers bolster but nothing major)
reversing camera
elec tailgate
black headlining
bi xenons auto adjusting
Rear Led Lights
interior lighting pack
daytona grey

i recall from when i bought the car 5 years back that it had over £11k of options

mileage is 166k with loads of invoices and thousands spent (circa £6K), car had new injectors several years back, the bill for this is thousands alone, you cant buy refurbished ones and the old ones have to go back to Bosch

needed for nothing and all work done at TC garage Crawley probably the best VW Audi Garage i have ever come across their knowledge is incredible

i have spent thousands on this car and if it needed anything its had it

the car drives very well as one would expect, 2 brand new tyres on the rears, 2 recent tyres on the fronts (fitted within the last 12 months)

alloys are tatty and would benefit from a complete refurb.

body is ok for age but has some scratches/dents here and there but nothing major

overall it still presents very well and a professional detail would have the car looking very nice (i just dont have 250 quid for one)

asking £4000 ono

so much car for such a little amount

photos can be sent via request, car is in Gravesend

Mot is due but i have no issue in putting it through one. The car drives, goes and stops as it should. No rattles, bangs or clunks. If i wasnt buying a house ans need the money to go towards moving costs i would be selling. I have receiepts for over 6k from TC garage alone. Had brakes done at a mates vw garage in swanley kent not that long ago. (VASS) the owner spencer knows me and the car pretty well.

I have a 2008 A6 Le Mans 3L saloon had the car for 5 years now and the best everyday car I have purchased comfy decent on fuel and if you look after them they simply just keep going. Worth every bit of the 4K asking price. Mine is approaching 210k and am tempted with new shape bi turbo but keeping mine for another year. GLWS.

Thanks for your comment.

I totally agree with you. Best car i have ever had. Much easier to drive than my RS6 just not as powerful obviously.

Very comfortable and yet very sporty if needed.

Forgot to mention some other featured that i missed. Not sure if extras but a nice convience non the less.

Auto lights
Auto wipers
Elec heated wing mirrors
Privacy glass (if not mentioned already)

I advertised a 157k B5 Avant end of August with mot expiry early Nov - hence 2.5 months to run. Short mot was a sticking point to first viewer. Put it through mot early, sold it for asking price to second viewer September

You are quite probably wasting your time paying to list it on Autotrader with an mot expiring in 13 days

Brilliant - pop past the local hand car wash on the way home, take some fresh pics, you'll get 4k for that easy on Autotrader.

Mines an A4 not A6, but I'm absolutely loving my 2007 Avant 3.0 TDI quattro S line Tiptronic. Lovely engine / gearbox
