We all have these moments where you debate selling a cracking car then regret it later down the line, however I guess that's what being a car enthusiast is all about. Honestly speaking if you want one of these cars I genuinely think you will be hard pushed to find a better one. Bold statement I know but please read on.

So I’ve decided to sell my ultra-low mileage B6 S4 Avant, in which can only be described as the colour everyone searches for, Nogaro Blue (sorry folks just my colour opinion). For me when I found this one I felt like I had won the lottery, the perfect colour and ultra-low mileage perfection, verified throughout its history, I had to move fast because I knew it would not hang about long for sale and I was delighted. The car has not disappointed at all. I could write for hours here about the car but it’s needless because all us Forum members have a passion for Audi S/RS cars and therefore know what this car is all about, you just need the facts from me.

So the car is a May 2003 completely standard apart from two items. One is a private plate S4 XPX which I put on the car, original plates are LV03 XZU which I have, but it’s my intention that the car stays with S4 XPX to its new owner. Second modification is the exhaust system which was fitted by previous owner. The exhaust system is a Magnaflow (imported from US at a cost of £900) which is 2.5" throughout and comprised of X-pipe for better gas scavenging (all of this quoted to me by previous owner). The exhaust is the resonated version, sounds nice and deep but will not disturb your neighbours. I like it because I’m a bit too old nowadays for very loud exhausts and this is certainly bang on with regards to escalating the V8 rumble without sounding intrusive.

So you know the car is the best colour, you know it’s very standard (apart from two modifications which are easily rectified), you know the mileage is to die for and just as you thought it couldn’t get any better here’s the Audi Main Dealer Service History details.

I promise whoever buys this car will not be disappointed, it’s been absolutely faultless for me, and could easily be used as a daily driver or tucked away as a lovely addition to a private collection.
I am looking for £12,500 which personally I think is a fair valuation on the car. Currently on eBay there’s a red saloon with 67,000 miles for £11,995.

Final note from me, I’m currently working night shift offshore so I apologise for the unsociable hours. I change over to day shift in a couple of days’ time (Wed 5th Dec) then we can talk which will be better. My mobile number is 07855 069 151 and out here I can only use Whatsapp messaging. Has it had the timing chains done?

Not as far as I know mate. There is no paperwork records of it being done and previous owner didn’t do it and neither have I. Just to clear up any doubts there’s no rattle, all seems absolutely normal.

You have to post at least something about the spec!!!

Cloth/alcantara/full leather
Carbon/alu/piano trim
Armrest
Heated seats
Cruise
BOSE
Concert/Symphony/RNSD/RNSE/6CD
Glovebox fridge

No worries at all.....I just didn't want to write war n peace on the original advert.....if someone is genuinely interested I knew they'd ask.
But anyways no trouble at all, spec as below my friend:

Cloth/half leather seats (immaculate, no wear at all).
Carbon trim.
Audi concert single CD.
Rear Parking Sensors.

So yeah it's a basic spec'd model but for me this was not a concern at all. Personally I would rather have outstanding Service History, ultra-low mileage, Nogaro Blue etc etc rather than an outdated RNS-D sat nav unit etc. for me these are just nice to haves but not critical at all. Sorry not a rant just my personal opinion.

If I hadn’t just bagged one today with 81k (chains done at 60k and only done 500 miles a year for the last 4 years, but still with an annual service) in Noggy blue with a very high spec (blue alcantara, auto lights, front and rear sensors, carbon trim etc) for £6k, I might have considered giving you £7.5k for it.

I missed out on another excellent example (in Aberdeen funnily enough) also in Noggy and fully serviced inc chains for only £5k last week too.

Sorry to say it’s not worth any where near what you’re asking.

Best of luck with the sale mate.

I had a look at a very similar spec’d car in London around 2011, ex insurance company director if I remember, a retirement gift. It had a very low mileage, might be the same car. We couldn’t agree on the price unfortunately.

Yeah it's difficult to agree on a valuation when you have something like this, and hey I could be well off with my estimation. But from historical searches and the fact that there's a red saloon for £11,995 with 67,000 miles it's the value I placed on my car today (rightly or wrongly).
Anyways if a genuine guy comes along, shows the right appreciation for a car like this, then the price is something we can have a private discussion on.

Hi folks, now that's the festive period out of the way I'm going to focus in on the sale of my S4.
I have added some internal photos in addition to the photos already posted.

Perhaps my valuation was a bit steep guys, sorry about that, so I've decided to drop the price to around the £10,000 mark. I'm hoping this is more realistic.

Honestly guys this is a cracking car and very much deserved of a good home to a fellow Audi enthusiast.

It's only fair I give our forum members the chance, especially now that I've reduced my asking price, before I advertise it on other bespoke car sales websites.

Its a nice car, low mileage is a bonus. I;; be in the market for something soon and Im close by but Id tend to agree with what has been said regards the price. I'll keep an eye out in case you decide to take it down a bit.

No worries at all mate. You know where I am and the price is subject to discussions, if it's going to a genuine buyer I may come down a bit.
I'm going to wait another week or two then I'll advertise elsewhere.
