Car drives without any fault. rac/aa/mrc inspection welcome, bring a mechanic friend and his friend to check it with fault code reader, jacks and torches to check it etc etc
Entended roadtests welcome.
I’ve owned the car since 2010 and have spent all that time correcting every mechanical detail I can afford to. The list of items it has had replaced is huge. I didn’t invest in tuning As it adds little value. I invested in keeping it mechanically perfect so that when it is driven I can be enjoyed. There is something about driving a mechanically sorted car.
So what’s new. Let’s start from the front and work back.
X2 oem headlights repalaced with new a few years ago, still like new
New oil cooler
R8 brake calipers fitted
New radiator all
New vacuum line
New air mass meters and seals
New n75
All New gearbox oil pipes and seals
Egt sensors have been replaced
Runs hotchkiss anti roll bars front and rear
Plugs and filters replaced
All new oil cooler pipes
Diff oil renewed
Recent Cambelt,tensioner,rollers, waterpump damper.
Front main oil seal
Engine oil runs gold (oil to me is free)
All front suspension arms have been replaced with lemenforder
All 4 drc shocks were replaced, drc is faultless free
Drc flexi pipes have been replaced
It has x4 rs6 plus super sport springs fitted so sits lower
A brand new OEM GEARBOX fitted 125k £6000 approx
Gearbox oil/filter changes every 3-4K (oil runs gold)
Chain tensioners x2 and chains have been renewed at 114k
Oil retention valves under manifold replaced x2
Rs6 plus exhaust non res, should amazing!!
New rear discs pads calipers and brackets.
Hazard switch and brake switch modified type.
New instrument panel
Rust on roof repaired at Audi and repainted
Roof channels rust protected
New windscreen
Tyres are all over 5mm, Michelins.
Rnse radio
So many receipts for service history and repairs.
The interior is very tidy the body work is very good for a car that is used daily. It has a few marks but I nothing I think anyone will mind.
It needs front pads and discs.. I havnt replaced them as we are heading into winter and I didnt want them to rust. I’d do them next summer.
The rnse radio works but need plumbing in, I never got around to it, it needs to can bus setting up.
The roof lining has been replaced with black as the grey/white looked crap.but the new lining started to sag which didn’t bother as its at the back.
One wheel arch liner rubs like they do.
Reason for sale, I have electric gates to pay for, a massive mortgage, a s4 400bhp project and possibly a 1976 audi 100 to restore and a new baby.
It’s 2003 chassis, 149k miles, this cars is mechanically faultless. It’s time to pass the Baton onto the next enthusiast who will Benifit from all my work
I’d say it’s worth 16k minus 1k for brakes and 1k for roof lining which isn’t that bad. Also I have one front brake disc (drilled)
