Hi mate - buckets in good condition.

They are also welded in so no-one can nick them!

Bang on the money there IMHO! We're the last generation of petrol and virtually unrestricted, free access to roads with comparably little 'state' surveillance of how we drive..

You say it was broken into to have the steering wheel and gear knob stolen, did they also steal the seats and if so is the car now a CAT D because of this? What damage occurred and had to be repaired due to the theft? Any paint work?

Theft claim was for steering wheel and gear knob only. No damage to paintwork - don't know how they got in frankly as no windows smashed and i'm sure I locked it. The bill at Audi was over £3k, as there was also some damage to the steering column.

They were after the seats, but these had been welded by the previous owner, so they were foiled.

At least they never damaged the seats, Iv heard instances where they couldn’t remove seats and they have slashed them.

Some interest but nothing definite. It's obviously priced too high (which has surprised me) given the condition, mileage and service history. So NEW Price.

£17,000 (firm) + 10 months fully Audi warranty for £500.

Here is the full service history for anyone seriously interested.

The full service history is as follows, for which I have all receipts and stamped service book. I also have all MOTs.

14.12.06 Stanstead Audi – AVS Service: 13790 miles

13.03.08 Southend Audi AVS Service plus brake fluid: 20319 miles

28.10.09 Southend Audi AVS services 28152 miles

19.04.11 Southend Audi AVS service 33801 miles

18.05.12 Amersham Audi brake fluid change 38124 miles

On 8 June 2012 the previous owner bought the vehicle from Audi. He is a dentist who lives a few miles from me.

04.10.12 Jack Barclay Audi 39863 miles
- Both auxiliary radiators replaced under warranty

31.12.12 Jack Barclay Audi AVS2 service + 8 spark plugs 40768 miles
- Plus replaced Clutch and Flywheel and associated hardware; repairs to exhaust manifolds

16.01.14 Jack Barclay Audi 44435 miles
- New Clutch and Flywheel and hydraulic pipe to slave cylinder (I think the clutch must have been done for second time under warranty), Front DRC replaced and recharged under warranty, removed inlet manifold to check for carbon deposits and replaced solenoid valve, brake fluid.

08.04.14 Jack Barclay Audi AVS service 45296 miles
Replaced all front top arms

16.05.15 Jack Barclay Audi AVS services 47749 miles
- Front discs and pads replaced, 8 spark plugs, wheels refurbished, MOT, four new wheel caps, 2 new boot lid struts

09.02.16 Jack Barclay Audi 50502 miles
Clutch switch and combi valve replaced

21.10.16 Jack Barclay Audi AVS service 52576 miles

I bought the car in Jan 17.

30.10.17 Jack Barclay Audi Interim Service 54675 miles
Left inner side front CV boot replaced

I replaced the MAF in Jan 18.

24.01.2018 MOT (no advisories) 54966 miles

I replaced all 4 tyres with Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 3 in around March this year. So masses of tread left.

17.07.18 Jack Barclay Audi 55330 miles
Four wheel alignment including new n/s/f track rod end
