Had a bit of financial bother latter end of last year... so i am looking again for an RS6 C5, ideally contrasting leather & Circa 75k miles.

Join the club mate. Still looking for a decent RS avant with my, probably not enough, budget of £20k.

I spoke to the seller for the car on the first link. I wasn’t impressed, he didn’t give me a good impression. I think the car also has around 10 previous owners. Not a deal breaker for some, but not for me.

Thats great, wondered why the price was disproportionate to the mileage.. & it has full history, in good condition & the right mods..
something dodnt add up.. makes better sense.

Have spoken with this guy. High on the owners again. Clearly trying to turn a quick buck. Story didn’t really check out. I found a couple of discrepancies on the service history.

I think decent ones are getting harder and harder to come by!

I did a check on it, he only bought it in August last year, advert tells it as being original then he goes on about it having all these mods & bilstiens on the rear.. so i asked him about the front & he said “it has adjustable coilovers” & the miltek thats fitted& isnt im the advert!

So its not unmollested, i like the mods but puts my back up that he isnt honest in the write up..

Tbh everyone wants to make a quick buck..

It amazes me when people feel the need to behave like that. You just know that attempting to buy a car off someone like that will be a horrible experience!
I pulled the sale of mine last year due to the number of unsavories who wanted to come and "have a look". (eBay)
I then panicked a bit and didn't get back to some genuine people off here, I know I missed several opportunities to sell the car.
