SOLD RS4 B7 Phantom Black MRC Stage II £15,000
RS4 B7 Phantom Black MRC Stage II £15,000
Modified cars will always take longer to sell as your selling to a niche market. People prefer standard cars, end of story. That’s where the top money is.
If you can put it back to oem spec and sell the parts separately on the bay or here.

I don't think this is necessarily true for all cars of all ages. A couple of years ago a well modified car would have sold easier than a standard car but I think we are at the age now where a standard car is much more desirable than a modified one (I know as I have a modified car for sale).iconic78 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2018 7:35 pmModified cars will always take longer to sell as your selling to a niche market. Lol yeah alright Golfather - both of those look good!
I think both of those work because the finish is satin rather than gloss - and also Jules car in that last pic had graphite (very dark grey) rather than black wheels.

No, i bought the car from the dealer Gareth sold it too, I've had the car for 4 years. I copied the some the add spiel from some other add on pistonheads cause I was too lazy to be creative, lol Maybe ill remove the shouting BS.
Get the point about the leather brake cover. It is a cover so it comes off, personally i don't mind it... i put matching ones on all the door handles which I think looks alright as the white stitching matches the seats. They are all velcro so they come off easily if someone doesn't like them. Personal preference.
When I first saw this car in pictures I wasn't fully sold on the black-white interior, but I went to see the car anyway. Truth be told it looks much better in the flesh as I am sure some of you can attest and so I fell for it. I've fully maintained the car and I've added a few things to it myself which felt where missing, the Hel brake lines, Hotchkis Arbs, Akipol diff mount, which I think transformed the car, tightened it up making it feel newer. Rear arb was great too. Out of the mods that matter, can't think that this car is missing much other than maybe ceramics.
Just spent nearly £2k on it, two new front drive shafts as CV joints were starting to go, new MAF, two new before cat Lambda sensors.
Yes, Gareth had the carbon bits redone in red but the lacquer doesn't seem to be as heat resistant as the original. it's a shame but I'm sure it can be re-lacquered for not too much.
I am not desperate for it to go, so if that means holding off to march then so be it, might bump the price up again. Can only be haggled down a bit.
Thanks for the advice guys.
