2011 - B8 S4 Avant - Black - Manual Gearbox - 492PS

2011 Audi S4 B8 Avant - Quattro
– 3.0 V6 Supercharged - Manual

I've decided it's time for a change, so up for sale is my S4 B8 Avant, very rare to find a 2011 with a manual gearbox. I've been all over Europe and recently on the Audi Wales trip and it's always performed phenomenally and also surprisingly economical when cruising, showing 34mpg+ ....surprised me too!

When tallying up the receipts in the last 2 years alone it's had over £12k spent on top of the standard servicing. Oil changes are done every 5-6k miles and I've only ever run it on Tesco Super unleaded or Shell. The combination of practicality, reliability and outright brutish performance is such an appealing combination, you'll struggle to find another car that ticks all of those boxes for under £20k.

Every major job has been done. What started with a weeping shock absorber earlier this year soon escalated into a full on suspension refresh including all new OEM shocks, 4 wheel laser alignment and to top it all off, an RS5 / R8 front brake conversion all using OEM parts. This takes the standard 2 pot front brakes to 8 piston calipers on each side. I soon uprated the pads to a set of Hawker HPS, imported from ECS in the USA. I still have all of the original S4 brakes, plus the original RS5/R8 pads should the new owner wish to revert back to OEM....why you would is beyond me though. When I had the conversion done (by VAS Motion, Guildford, Surrey), I had hub-centric spacers fitted to allow the original 18" alloy wheels to fit over the calipers, since at the time I was still running my Winter tyre set. At present it's running the 19" RS6 Segment alloys which don't require spacers and also have over 4mm of tread on the Pirelli P-Zero tyres. Plus I also have summer tyres for the 18" alloys should the new owner wish to revert back to the stealthy look.

The rear diffuser was professionally painted by BMW in Guildford using a paint originally used on 1970s BMWs, the combo with the black paint work and gun metal grey alloys works very well. I do have the original diffuser should the new owner want to revert back to OEM. Both diffusers have a cut out to allow the detachable tow bar to click in and the electics to drop down, all very subtle. The tow bar was purely used to tow my KTM trail bike (90kg) to the odd weekend event and was only fitted earlier this year, so no arduous towing has ever occurred.

The clutch is a Clutch Masters FX350 paddle clutch, accompanied by an OEM dual mass fly wheel and this was fitted about a year about shortly after the remap. It works perfectly, just worth noting that the characteristics of a paddle clutch mean that some judder is to be expected in traffic.

Only recently I had the front wings replaced by Audi in Guildford due to some surface corrosion appearing within the front wheel arches. The wings were imported direct from Germany and the paint job is perfect. I specifically requested that the V6T badges were left off as I prefer the look of them without, plus it's a nonsense badge since it's supercharged not turbo'd.

Last to mention, the Milltek cat back is the race version, which under normal driving conditions is nice and quiet with no droning and then when under load it develops an addictive rumble, accompanied by the Supercharger whining due to the ECS carbon open filter/heat shield combo. I also have the original airbox that MRC modified with a silicon pipe and K&N filter, but I much prefer the ECS one, for it's sound and throttle response, such a great design.

I have so many photos it's hard to know where to start, but hopefully the following few should give you a flavour and if interested drop me a line and we can take it from there.

I'm based in Guildford, Surrey.

I'm not completely certain about selling this, but I have an itch to scratch with an LS1 (Corvette engined) TVR and an R8....just needed to build up another years NCB which I now have so can get insured on either of them!:)

....and still count me in on the club trips!
