Selling this wonderful car.
Spec:
• Named component Audi Warranty until end of July 2017 – renewable up to 100k miles!
• Beautiful Avus silver – this really is a fabulous colour for the saloon – accentuates the arches while at the same time keeping a low profile.
• 54k miles
• Buckets
• FBSW
• Solar Sunroof
• Bose
• Auto dimming rear view mirror
• Fridge in glove box
• Sat Nav
• Centre arm rest
• Heated front and rear seats
• Front and rear parking sensor
• Dark wood inlays
• 4 former keepers
• No modifications
Maintenance:
Really well looked after:
• Full Audi Service History (lots of paperwork)
• MOT till Jan 2018
• Last serviced in October 2016 at 52,576
• Michelin Pilot Super Sports all with 5mm tread left
Many of the big known issues recently addressed:
• Front DRC, clutch, flywheel and hydraulic pipe replaced@ 44,435
• Both Aux Rads replaced @ 38,863
• I believe the intake manifold was also replaced by Audi but cannot locate the paperwork at present
Condition
In lovely condition. Just been cleaned and polished using very good products by me and a mate who is a professional detailer.
Exterior
In very good condition. A few minor stone-chips and tiny marks but really nothing that detracts from the overall appearance. Paint recently measured with depth gauged and believed to be original except perhaps for OSR door and arch.
The wheels are good overall. A couple have a very minor kerb mark showing and have had a smart repair. A fastidious owner would probably want to refurb the wheels at some point.
Interior
Also in very good condition. Minimal wear esp. side bolsters. Lovely silver headlining and wood inlays. This combo with Avus make this feel like a very grown up car.
Engine and transmission
Very smooth drive – plenty of power (feels as fast as my mapped B5 RS4) and the all important kick at 5,500 rpm is right there.
It really feels a tight and very good car to drive.
Recently been to Audi for a health check and no issues found. The only issues I can find are (a) exhaust flaps disabled by Audi, and (b) the inflatable seat bolsters on the driver's side don't hold pressure.
£21,500.
I really doubt anyone will be disappointed. The Audi warranty is very rare and a real bonus for anyone wanting a low mileage original car and wanting to keep it that way (the DRC repair listed above was done under this warranty).
Having had turbo charged cars all my life this car was revelation for me – it really impresses and I can see what all the B7 fuss is about – if I could keep it I would!
