In hindsight I should have accepted an offer some guy showed after viewing about a month ago... We were 500 apart. Got a bit greedy. Would have saved hassle of MOT and warranty renewal... That's life.

Did you say it now has another years Audi warranty?

Yes they've had it since I started this thread. The price has been reduced by around 4k since they first got it, and since the MOT and warranty finished 15 June I have now renewed the warranty until June 2018 and will supply it with 12m MOT.

Has it had any work done with regards the gearbox oil seal or coolant pipes?

No.

Oil seal is covered under the warranty.

Coolant pipe corrosion you'd have to check what state they are in if you view it, but the Audi inspection service done less than 1000 miles ago they didn't mention it.

FWIW whilst I've had it, 2.5 years it was stored in an underground residents carpark, last 3 years in my heated garage.

I'm trying to get a P/X figure for my car but with the lack of response I don't think they are interested.

I'll try and call them later and see if they can do anything.

I picked this up from ASM. I have to say it's a testament to MNK the condition it is in. You have done a stunning job maintaining it. Could I ask you to xfer the warranty though - don't want to get caught out without that. Cracking job on the car though mate, I will continue the cotton wool treatment
