Seeking first RS6 Avant

Post by OtleyDominic » Sun Dec 04, 2016 12:08 pm

Good day,

I have always wanted an RS6 Avant since a young age and now I am in a position to own one. I am looking for a very clean, well maintained RS6 Avant, with all the needed maintenance and fixes done. Looking to spend 11k GBP.

However, I am somewhat wary of the horror stories and talk of 3k/ annum maintenance costs for the vehicle. I will only be doing 5k miles a year in it and mostly around the Yorkshire Dales and family trips. I work away so only use my cars of a weekend. I think 1.5k to 2k per annum I could stomach though. However, given this, would I be best looking elsewhere realistically e.e. S6, RS4, even Range Rovers lol?

Thank you in advance for any help and pointers.

Best wishes for the festive season!

Dominic

Slight update, if anyone knows of a good one, for up to 12k, which they are happy to be independently inspected etc, shout! :)

Cool. Come and say hello in the C5 forum. Some of us aren't mad.
