It is with a heavy heart that I am selling my RS4. This car is in fantastic condition in beautiful carbon black, it has done 89k miles and has FULL AUDI service history, last serviced at Preston Audi on 06/05/16. It had brand new genuine Audi brake discs and EBC brake pads fitted all round 2 months ago at a cost of £1800. 4 new Michelin ps2 tyres 2 months ago-£900. Scorpion cat back exhaust system 6 months ago-£1500. Sport flat bottom steering wheel with sport mode. Full Audi/Bose stereo system with 6 disc changer, SD card inputs and Sat Nav. Electric, leather heated front seats. Heated leather rear seats. Load cover and luggage guard. Electric windows, Air con, front and rear parking aid. Cruise control. Traction control. The original Audi 19" alloys have been professionally powder coated in satin black. Rear privacy windows. MOT'd until 15/04/17. Any inspection welcome. Please note, the car will have an RS04 registration number when sold as the current one is my own plate. If you are in the market for one of these amazing cars you will be hard pushed to find a better one. I think he means it has black optics, doesn't sound like the black edition as it has carbon trim.

I got corrected and told there isn't a black edition .The above car has piano black inserts ,doors and dash .

Sorry, it doesn't have carbon trim, it is carbon black in colour (never seen one of those before).

Harris, there is a rare black limited edition but this is not it, hence my correction that it has black optics and it is not the black limited edition.

Hi Mike , mine has the black inserts the same as the one for sale . only asking so I'm sure what mine is . When I was looking for one I wanted carbon but from what I can make out on here the black inserts are Rare ??

What's different with the Black edition one do you know ?

The black edition had painted black seat backs (buckets), it has black trim, alcantara steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake lever. Also I believe the stitching on the buckets is a different colour from normal. And the grill surround is black.

Now some of these were options; the black trim was a no cost option, but most people went for the standard carbon. The black grill was an option as part of the blakc optic pack, and the alcanatara was available as an option too, but the black seat backs were not available seperately. I don't think I've ever even seen a picture of the blakc one. There was a white edition, which was obviously white, had white trim, white grill, white seat backs etc and seems to be more popular. There was one that crops up on here but had some of the limited edition parts split and sold seperately so doesn't look like a genuine one anymore.
This is all from momoery from many years ago, so I am bound to have got some bits wrong though.
