Hi guys. As the title states, the car is unfortunately now for sale.

I've picked up the new steed so I could really do with moving her on as soon as possible.

In my eyes and with everything that's been sorted during my ownership, I feel the car's worth £12,000 but I'm open to sensible offers.

A little background
I bought the car back in April of this year after deciding to sell my 535d Touring. I met with Cam (the6 on here) a couple of times and I decided the car was for me.
The big thing for me was that the gearbox had been refurbished and after a test drive, it felt very solid and had clearly been looked after.
One aspect I thought I'd struggle with was the slightly dated interior but at the time, I put that to the back of my mind as I didn't want to be deterred from owning one of these awesome cars. Unfortunately this is an area I've always struggled with and I've always slightly craved the luxuriousness of the BMW's interior, so hence why I'm returning to the brand of Bavarian beauties.

Before owning the car, I knew how much they could destroy a mans wallet so I did as much research as I could before making a purchase. This car came up and it had clearly been looked after and had recently had the gearbox refurbished which was a must really.
I always ensure the cars I own are looked after and cared for properly so if work needs to be done, it's done.

During my ownership the car has only ever been washed by hand and finished with Dodo Juice Purple Haze. The paintowork I would say is in good condition but does have a few stone chips as you'd expect.
The car is in good mechanical health and has never let me down and most of the items that can potentially go wrong have been replaced.

Id get the damage fixed before seeing if I was you. Very much doubt you will find anyone who wants to buy damaged car, unless it is a lot cheaper.

I had the same thought process myself but thought I'd see if anyone was interested before the work was done.
How much cheaper do you think it would have to be?

Thanks for the advice by the way.

I don't think 12k is too much to ask with the bodywork done. Car looks very clean otherwise.

The car has now had the steering rack fitted so I'll probably pick it up later in the week and take it straight to Greg Howell to sort the paintwork. Then it will be sorted. :beerchug:

Update:
The rack has now been fitted and the car will be heading over to Greg Howell on the 8th December. He will probably have the car for around a week so it will be ready for viewing week commencing 15th December.

Perfect timing to make a great christmas present. :beerchug:

OK everyone, the steering rack has been fitted and the tailgate has been repaired and I'm picking the car up this afternoon.

Once I have it home, I'll be cleaning/conditioning the leather and giving it a proper going over so it's ready for the new owner.

I'll post some up to date pics up ASAP.

Managed to give her a quick wash this afternoon but didn't have a chance to clean the interior.

I've attached a few photos which were taken post wash. Sorry they're not great but I'll try and take some better ones later in the week.
Hopefully I'll get a chance to clean the interior and take a few snaps over the next few days. Very busy at work at the moment.
