2003 RS6 AVANT Daytona grey sold!

Having owned her for nearly 6 years the time has come! Why? because a made the mistake of going to test drive a new Golf R and the salesman knew I was easy prey! I am the third owner and have had a wonderful six years ownership which compared to others on here has been trouble free.
Has all the usual kit plus, multi-function heated steering wheel, suede headlining, black optics inc colour coded wing mirrors, KW coil-overs by Unit 20, drilled discs otherwise a standard good clean daily driver. May have more options above standard. Sunroof, isofix, heated rear seats.
Bad bits, needs new tyre pressure sensors for the tyre pressure system to work I have it switched off, some of soft touch coating on the interior door handles is wearing off, it has had paint on the rear wheel arches for stone chips and offside rear door due to interaction with driveway gate in "I have got to get to the January sales" emergency during my ownership. Being really fussy the Daytona grey colour match isn't perfect but the finish is really good
Good Bits, It is mechanically fit as a flea, for servicing both previous used Audi dealers as did I for the first one, however on discovering RS246 forum I switched to Grizz at unit 20. It usually spends a week or so at Unit 20 each year whilst we are on holiday allowing Grizz to give it a good going over and presenting me with a bill, sometimes larger than the cost of the holiday, but I have the peace of mind knowing everything has been sorted by the best. Recent tyres, brake discs and pads so no big bills looming! Any inspection welcome in fact I would prefer it! It means you are a serious buyer!

Yep, first time it happened I thought I was having a bit of a stroke, but it's lovely on a cold morning, comes on when you activate the drivers heated seats. It's got heated seats in the back as well if that's an option rather than standard?
still waiting for the sun to come out to get some more photos!

Morning,
I have seen this on a few sites now and it is described pretty much exactly what I have been looking for in an rs6 and you are relatively close to me (45 miles ish) has it ever had any of the common gearbox issues in its life span do you know? My issue is I'm away for 2-3 weeks working as of Monday 1st. If its still available when I'm back I'll get in contact again, cash waiting!
regards,
Bill

You've probably seen it on two sites this one and auto trader. Got someone coming to look at it on monday, will post the results on here. New car doesn't arrive until end of September so will be holding out for the full £10k, that said I do have other vehicles so if I get the right offer it can go straight away!

I've gone the DSG route, my left leg is useless after six years in the rs6. Total auto convert and now with DSG being faster and more efficient it's a no lose situation.
