This is my wife’s car and she is the 2nd owner having owned it for the past 4 years.
No expense spared with this car, always serviced and maintained regardless of cost.
This is a genuine un-abused example of a fantastic hatchback, it is all standard with the inclusion of the front armrest and 6 disc CD player. It also has a Parrot Bluetooth handsfree kit fitted.
It has had both front wings repaired under VW goodwill last year, this is due to an inherent issue with all MK5 golfs were the front arches have started to corrode after around 6 years. Watch out for this if you are looking at any of the MKV’s around the age of 2004-2008
It does have a towbar with single electrics which was fitted last year and has been used to tow a small lightweight trailer with camping equipment. Neither of my 2 cars are type approved for towing so the tow-bar had to go on my wife’s car. It has been used 3 times for towing (around 100 miles total).
Genuine reason for sale - We’re fed up with camping, so have bought a newer, replacement car which will enable us to tow a caravan.
The car is due a service in around 500 miles and will also require a cambelt in the next couple of months. I’m happy to get this done but the price will have to be increased by £500 to reflect the additional work.
Alternatively, buy the car as it is and get it done yourself.
We’ve only just agreed a deal on the new car today, so I haven’t had chance to add pictures yet, but I will do later this evening/tomorrow when I’ve had chance to clean the car.
