Daytona B7 RS4 Avant '57 for sale *****NOW SOLD********
Posted: Tue Dec 03, 2013 9:53 pm
Unfortunately the time has come to part with my pride and joy. I've read that so many times on here before but now i actually feel the pain of having to let go of my dream car.
The wife has moved jobs, i have a new job as well which has forced us to sell up and move home, unfortunately my wife has set her heart on a much more expensive house, which is nice i must admit, and as such i must part with my RS4 to release some funds for the impending move! Not good but I WILL return to owning an RS4 again as soon as i can post the move.
Anyway enough of the niff naff and trivia, the details are below, apologies if the advert is a bit suck eggs for those who know RS4's inside and out but i have catered for the less knowledgeable amongst us that are looking to buy:
Many of the Scottish RS owners on here have seen the car so i'm happy if you want to gauge their opinion if required also.

Last serviced (long life service) 6000 miles ago by Stockport Audi in June of this year, work carried out:
Full service, long life service
Air conditioning pressure sensor switch replaced and re-gassed.
2xDRC shocks replaced, DRC valve replaced + all pipework with a full re-charge and level check carried, including full inspection of system. Still under Audi warranty as you would expect. All replaced due to 1 shock leaking found on MOT, extra items replaced as a precaution.
During the service brake pads were noted as being less than 10% worn so plenty of life left in them, the front discs are hardly worn at all, rear discs were noted as being slightly corroded on the lip but that's all (May need replacing at some point late next year i would expect, potentially.
The car has been absolutely perfect while i've owned it, apart from the leak on 1 shock absorber. I have had no issues at all.
As for condition it's pretty much spot on, i took ages over looking for the right car and it took me the best part of 7 months to find this one. It is completely HPI clear with no outstanding finance, i paid cash for the car when i purchased it.
Bodywork wise it's completely straight and the paint work is in great order, i won't say it's perfect as got the usual stone chips on the front end that are to be expected for a car of this age that's not been re-sprayed at all. There are a few very tiny specs/bubbles signs of up-coming corrosion spots on the rear arches that i would have attended to if i was keeping the car. I have had a quote from my local audi approved bodyshop here in dundee for the rear arch and complete front end, bumper off re-spray which is £500, so i've factored that into my asking price and reduced it to £21,500 (No offers).
Other than that the car is immaculate, i'm a bit OCD about this car as it's my dream motor so it's kept pretty much pristine.
I've been as honest and upfront as i can as i'm aware i'm a long way away from most of the buyers on here. Overall the car is a great example of what is the best Audi ever made, in my opinion.
Please PM me if you would like further information or you have any more questions.
