sadly due to lack of funds i cant keep her any more :(

2003 Audi B6 S4 ebony black
silk silver nappa leather
2010 RNSE (gloss frame and silver knobs)
6 CD Changer
Bluetooth
genuine Rotiform BLQ 19"x9.5" wheels
pirelli rubber (3-5mm left all round)
milltek catback with bypass pipes (to make the exahust louder and can be removed)

this car has pretty much every single option from the factory
glove box fridge
heated front and rear seats
rear doors have blinds built in
electronic rear window blind
ski hatch + ski bag
front and rear parking sensors
auto dimming rear view mirror
auto dimming side mirror
electric foldable side mirrors
electric memory seats
xenon headlights
headlight washers etc
heated washer jets for windscreen
heated side mirrors
factory cruise control

personally i have fitted the 2010 rnse and bluetooth this is the higher resolution screen and accepts up to 32gb memory cards in each slot. also i retrofitted a B7 RS$ starter button and replaced the clip on the armrest lid.

Just had rear brake pads and passed the mot 2 weeks ago with no advisories

couple days ago was driving and got a miss fire, replaced the coil packs and its still there and as im skint i cant afford to fix it, im genuinely gutted as i loved this car but after just buying a house i genuinely cant afford any more money on it!

mileage is 87531 miles it also has 6 months tax on it....

as i cant afford to fix this im going to let the car go cheap as i dont know what is wrong. might be just a case of needing new plugs or something else that is simple, genuinely havent got the time or the money to find out whats wrong.

other issues there is a patch of laquer peel on the rear passengers arch, a scuff on the rear bumper and a poorly repaired scratch on the front passenger wing (all from previous owner)

genuinely breaks me to sell the car as i love it so much just at the moment needs must.

The big issue I had when selling mine was that it didn't have the oem wheels. Can't see what the major issue is as they can be purchased at a later date? Good luck with the sale and put the money towards a new camera

Have you read the fault codes to see if there's an obvious solution?
V8 S4's are hard enough to move on at the best of times and are very much a case of right place, right time and that's without a repair gamble to throw into the mix.

the code that came up was saying coilpack 4... like i said no time or money to chase faults and find the issue...

price reduced to £4000 as it stands

£3000 without the wheels and the head unit

£2500 without the wheels, head unit and back box

i wont sell the parts off until the car is gone, if i get no luck i will break the car or as much of it as i can.

Have they been replaced after the "recal"? No point giving the car away for nothing!

No time to chase the faults, yet you have time to strip it?
No money to fix the faults (£80 possibly)?

the car when the issue came up was sent to a garage, they told me they replaced the coil packs that were faulty, two of them infact, but it didt cure it they said...

the coil packs all look identical to how they were when i last removed them, to the point of them having a thumb print on the cylinder 4 that i left that they claim they replaced...

i have asked them for my old ones that they took out and also a recipt for the new ones, they havent produced either, they charged me alot of money for what they supposedly did which was stupid as im more than competent and im 99% sure they did piss all, along with just moving in to a new house i have no time to do it, i have put a deposit on a new car and just need to get rid of this before my fiancé goes nuclear at me lol!

as for the breaking i have a friend who is out of work that will have it stripped in a day for 30 quid so its not a problem to do that!

Hopefully it is just a coilpack but it might not be quite that simple, I really hope for your sakes fella its not the camchains and tensioners. As above there was an Audi recall on the packs, the part numbers are visible if you pull them out, will tell you whether they are 2003 originals or later ones (ie swapped by Audi FOC when it went in for service). Whats the service history like?

packs were changed under recall 1 year ago by audi, serv history is full audi up until just over a year ago when it went to an independent before i got it, has been independent since.

if no one comes to buy it (lets face it if it is just a simple coil pack you got a fully loaded s4 for 4k) with a years mot and 6 months tax... that prob the cheapest s4 purchased ever lol!

i ran Vagcom and it showed

16688 P0304-001 cylinder 4 misfire detected upper limit exceeded.

also showed 17981 - left engine mount solenoid upper limit exceeded (its not plugged in iirc i forgot when i was doing some work)

thats it, no other faults.

im based in gloucester for the people who have asked... i will give it another week or so then i will be breaking i guess :(

Won't be a coil pack if they were changed by Audi last year, not unless someone has pressure hosed the engine bay and killed one. You have record of the plugs being done?
