I will be putting my RS6 avant up for sale in a few weeks.

In the meantime, I will have it MOT'd, minor serviced, valeted, wheels refurbished, and photographed.
It will go on Pistonheads and Autotrader at around £12k.

Should any members on here be interested in getting in early on this, I will be able to offer a significant reduction on this price if I can be spared the expense and hassle of advertising it and having the above work done.

Some details:
92k miles
Blue, with grey leather and privacy glass.
Completely standard, apart from DRC replaced with coilovers.
Full service history, including cambelt/waterpump/belts about 7k miles ago, and new discs and pads a few hundred miles ago.
Everything works, never let me down.
Current MOT expires end March.

Based in Bedford

Anybody interested e mail me at stevenderrick@btinternet.com

Hi

Sorry but I dont want to thread crap but you say its got full service history. Yet in another thread you say it has a sketchy history and the possibility of the propshaft seals leaking.

My question is how has the car now got full history and did you get rid of the oil leaks.

Thanks

PS can you get some pics up :biggrin3:

Mugello? Don't recall seeing a C5 for a while, used to see a Sprint Plus sometimes in and around Priory Marina

Hi,

There was a service missing before I bought it, and the cambelt was way overdue.
I have had all these done now and brought it back up to date- gearbox oil, diff oil, all changed, erything done that needs doing.

As for the oil leak, I had it checked out properly- it is so small the advice was to leave it alone as long as the box behaves normally, which it does, so I have (left it alone)

I live in Clapham, but I'm always going through town, although I am quite glad to go unnoticed.
I have seen another one once in Bedford, like mine, dark blue avant.
And only the other day I was alongside a brand new black S6 avant driven by a lady. Both looked good.

Hope this answers your questions.

MUST have been yourself I saw this evening surely? Dropped you a pm rather than disclose plate and location. :sekret:

If so, how on earth do you keep Mugello blue so cleeeeeeeeeeeeeean in this weather? Mine has been looking immaculate the last ten days........... simply because after washing and waxing 10 days back it hasn't moved from the car port!!

2004 car, immaculate Titan alloys, black optics from memory too, hence looks like a Plus, stunning!

Edit hmmmmm sure this 'spot' was a 2004 car but your thread says 2003, maybe it was your doppelganger!!

Know for certain this wasn't yours now, so my PM must have seemed rather random apologies! :beerchug:

Hi Ian,

No it was not me, although it could have been as I am often around that area.

Mine is dark blue, with privacy glass, and debadged so maybe a little less obvious (but the wing mirrors are still silver, as they should be!)

It is still not officially on the market yet, due to lack of time/laziness on my part.
Looking at agx10's car advertised above, I am a little worried I am being optimistic on the price.

Nah I think your price is okay if its as tidy as Simons (the one I actually saw as per his reply in spotted section)

Spotted a Mugello Avant today on the A428 in Bedford (Cambridge side), I flashed at the very last minute, VRN was somelike like ** 54 XGA?
