Stumbled on this website and the thought occured to me that an enthusiast may well appreciate the oppurtunity of owning an 88k example with FASH than anyone else. Sensible offers invited.

FON, welcome, piccies and nice 1st post selling your car!

Piccies to follow; vehicle is en-route and will be located in Winsford, Cheshire. We are a garage (but not a dedicated sales pitch); preferring to put our time into the fitment of clutches (as the name implies) BUT have allways opted to peddle cars a little different than the norm. Led to believe the RS6 in question is a very nice example and am keen to try and see what can be acheived with proper people (reference to all members of RS246) in terms of realising a decent price for a decent car rather than the crowd that hang around e-bay that feel a '99 Ferrari F355 spyder should be offered for £25k!!! For fear of going into a rant i'll just re-iterate a point "Happy to sell a vehicle for any price-so long as it can be wholly justified" Point being- can't abide cliche stuff like "whats the best for cash?" or the old chesnut "Ive only got £5k for your £10k car". RS246 buyers will give you a harder time than a regular Autotrader/eBay customer as they know what to look out for, so if your intention was an easier sale, think again. The C5 RS 6 is a complex beast, and there's a lot to be aware of. Let me help you get started.

Is it on DRC?
When was the Cambelt done?
What are the brakes like? New ones are £1k.
Are the intercoolers leaking? (Easy to check)

Also, you're probably going to have to pay if you're a business to advertise here. This site is for enthaiusts and paid up traders to use, to be honest, you're only selling the car for your benefit but dressing it up like you're doing us a favour.

Don't insult us, I'm sure you're a nice guy but running the forum isn't free, so don't be surprised if PhilT deletes this thread.

Not averse to paying for advertising. Never implied im doing anyone a favour-merely pointing out to anyone who is interested that there IS a '03 RS6 saloon available for bids. Not withstanding the fact we know very little about RS6's we do know the value of cars. The car is there for all interested parties to BUY; if not it gets auctioned within the month-and we still profit! Not wishing to offend at all!

Picked up my car out of storage last night, it was so good to have a blast in a fast car again, really has made a good end to a rubbish week!
