I have rs4 b5 for sale it has 64400miles on clock it is in good condition. It was remapped at mrc two years ago to 420 bhp the rest of the car is standard the car is based in jersey Channel Islands hence the low mileage the cambelt was changed at40494 miles, front discs and pads,rear pads, left hand cv joint and boot kit,right hand cv boot kit, all top suspension arms replaced. All works done at 54843 I have reduced the price to £10000 to try and help with the vat that needs paying on receipt produced.

HMRC appear to do it on book value. It might be possible to get a decision from Dover HMRC prior to purchase.

I did mine after and was surprised at the result. I recently paid £88 on importing a one owner Corrado VR6 Storm from Jersey. HMRC valued the car at £774.00 which bore no resemblance to the purchase price.

Almost forgot, its Vat at 20% and Import Duty at 10% which is due The latter gave me a few sleepless nights, not having originally accounted for Duty
